Last night it took me 4 hours to go to sleep because I had a shooting pain in my groin. It is on the right side, a couple of inches above my genitals in the seam where my thigh meets the torso.

Woke up today and the pain is duller and it cones and goes. I have not done any unusual or excessive physical activity lately. My first thought was gas but it is on the inside of the hip socket.

What could this be?

Serious question. Its not ball cancer.
