Panic Meter - 1 (not panicked) to 10 (totally panicked) (1 Viewer)

T. Lockett - 7 - I know he can be a bit hot and cold but this was a game he should have performed better than 10 yds on 2 receptions (4 targets).

10 - Zach Wilson. He wasn’t going to see the field at all, so he was to get a couple year reprieve from the scrutiny of being a terrible bust. But alas, his luck ran out quickly. I’m panicked for him.

Is he owned anywhere outside of 16-team dynasties with 70-man rosters?

You probably be panicked about the Zach Wilson led Jets facing the Dallas D/ST next week.

Did everyone forget Garret Wilson played with Zach, Flacco, and White last year while managing to be a low end wr1?
Talent wins for me, put the kid at a 2 after that insane td catch he had.
In what league was Wilson a low-end WR1? He finished outside the top-20

His stats with one of those QBs was significantly worse than when playing with the other two. That also happens to be the only QB still on the roster...

Antonio Gibson 7

I thought he was a decent RB3 with upside. Not much work
Probably got some hard roster decisions in the next couple of weeks, and I'm definitely considering Gibson for a "landmine drop".

Usage terrible, and then the fumble. I'm fine letting someone else spend all season trying to figure out just how far in the doghouse Gibson is.

If I remember correctly he only scored points with Flacco too and was bad with Wilson

That's true - GW did manage to preserve some of his fantasy value with Flacco/White. I'd be very concerned fantasy wise now that it's Zach for good, but GW is too good of an WR to totally fall off - just have to lower his ceiling by a fair amount. Zach will assuredly feed him, it's just that the targets will almost certainly be of lower volume/quality.

Week one has given us a lot of buy low sell high opportunities.
That said…
Mcvay rbs 8
Atlanta pass catchers 7
Pats skill players 7

CJ Stroud - 3 - Looked pretty good for a rookie’s first start. Our OL was missing 3 starters, but I’m not convinced those guys are significantly better. I worry for CJ running for his life all year and what it could do for his psyche

Dameon Pierce - 4 - A tad more worried here because of the same OL, but also because the WRs looked meh and I expect opponents to stack the box especially now

QB Justin Fields = Panic Level 5
RB Khalil Herbert = Panic Level 7
RB Najee Harris = Panic Level 8

I hear you. Talk more about Harris. What do you think there?
The major reason for my panic level for Najee Harris is because of my team situation. I was on thin ice with my RBs anyhow (I selected Jefferson #1 in 14-team). I was counting on Harris and Dobbins to be consistent in RB points. Well we know the Dobbins situation. For my personal situation, that elevated Harris to my RB1/2 with Herbert being my only other option. I can accept that Pittsburgh's offense had a lousy day (many NFL offenses were putrid in Week #1). I can also accept that they were playing a very good San Francisco defense. What is tougher for me to accept is that Warren may be elevating up Pittsburgh's depth chart and eventually take over what Harris would have normally done.

Ultimately my panic level is based on the domino effect of my hurting roster.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I am remember seeing a stat that he was WR8 with White/Flacco and WR40 with Z. Wilson last year. :cry:

Bills Offense - 5

I've owned allen across my leagues and while I have enjoyed the ride in the back of my head it felt so close to falling apart. It's just not that good of a team

The Philly game ended up being a "that which doesn't kill me makes me stronger" game for Pats fans.

New England Fans panic levels after 1 quarter: 8/10 (tipped pass in the rain and zeke elliott fumble -> 16-0)
New England Fans panic levels after 4 quarters: 1/10.

New England Haters panic levels before Boutte's second foot was confirmed out of bounds: 11/10 (this CAN'T be happening!!!).

New England Haters panic levels after Boutte's second foot was confirmed out of bounds: 4/10 (crap...NE's offense is not going to be a joke this year)

Combined Score, Q2-Q4: NE 20 PHI 9

For the game....(2 of 5 starting o linemen and starting WR2 Parker did not play)....

Yards Gained: NE 382 PHI 251
Pass 1st downs: NE 18 PHI 6
Hurts stat line: 22 / 33 / 170 / 1 / 0, 9 / 37 / 0.
Mac Jones' stats vs PHI one year after Matt Patricia / Mike Judge experiment: 35 / 54 / 316 / 3 / 1.

My entire team.... Yikes

Allen-- 5---> Think he will be up and down, scared to make big plays??
G Wilson---> 8/9. Holy ****
London----> 9/10---> hes probably worthless
Bijan---> 5. He will be good but probably not top 5 level with Allgeier scoring 10-15 TDs lol
Waller--->5. Field was wet--> maybe thats why he looked slow?? Either way, didn't look as explosive as the hype/preaeason

Dameon Pierce - 4 - A tad more worried here because of the same OL, but also because the WRs looked meh and I expect opponents to stack the box especially now

The good news for Pierce was that Singletary got way less use than many expected. The bad news is Mike Boone got way more use than expected. Hopefully the o’line will be a little healthier in a month and thankfully the matchups coming up aren’t too scary either.

Waller--->5. Field was wet--> maybe thats why he looked slow?? Either way, didn't look as explosive as the hype/preaeason
Well, he was a game time decision since he is dealing with a hamstring issue. I am sure that didn't help his explosiveness.
Dallas D stuffed them. Game was over before it had a chance to begin so I can't imagine Waller was giving 110%. Waller was still the #1 target for Jones.

Just for the games I watched:
* Justin Fields- 8
The o-line was absolutely putrid and Fields matched that with his terrible decision making. I had high hopes this year, but I'm afraid I was completely wrong.
* Khalil Herbert- 4
He looked ok early on, but was taken out when the game got out of hand. He will have very nice games and some dogs. Decent flex option for sure.
* Saquan Barkley- 1
Game just got out of hand. Dallas has a great defense and the NYG weren't prepared. Barkley was and is the Giants offense.
* Jahan Dotson- 5
Man, 40 yards against that dog of a defense. He didn't really look special in a game he and McLaurin should have shined.
* Philly offense-1
They have some work to do. I have zero worries , but they need to get in synch.
Philly offense 0
Dotson 0 (no shares)
Herbert 5
Fields 2 for fake football 5 for real football.
Wow, really a 2 for Fields? He looked completely lost out there to me. I really hope I'm wrong, but he didn't impress me at all.
He will end up running and get all of those points back.

I tried to add some new names here.

Akers / Harris - Change of expectations. They will be in a RBBC but should still have some value. Their ceiling looks to be severely capped.

Swift and Penny / Skyy Moore- 10. Always thought Gainwell was the guy, though swift might get more snaps due to Thursday game. If he does, sell at any value, drop Penny.For Moore, data and eyeball test show he’s almost 100% bust, just drop and move on. Chiefs rookie WR R Rice will outscore Moore this season

Tyler Lockett - 8.5 nobody is really discussing Lockett but I would be very concerned. He turns 31 in a couple weeks. JSN just had wrist surgery and still saw plenty of snaps and a good target share that will climb all season, especially in the Fantasy playoffs. Both of Seattles tackles were injured and Geno looked poor. Sell if possible. He’s more along the lines of a modern Tyler Boyd at this point. Will probably have 3 or 4 good games but you won’t ever know when.

London / Pitts - 7.5 I expected big things from London but this looks like a repeat of last year and I couldn’t have been more wrong after week 1. The game script was extremely positive for a running attack which is their preferred method anyway, next week will be telling.

Garret Wilson - 6.5. He has the MILF Hunter throwing ducks instead of a HOF throwing him darts. Game splits with Zach were bad last year. 8.5 games played with Zach he totaled 430 yards. Ugh.

Lamar Jackson - 5.5. Will be relevant for fantasy but ceiling will be capped. He has never averaged 200 yards passing through a full 16 or 17 game NFL season. Seemed to limit his rushing a little as well. Seemed to shy away from deep shots and offense looked clunky.

Jalen Hurts - 3.5 Didn’t have the ball much and had a big lead that dictated a run game plan. However, he gave himself up early very frequently and didn’t seem to want to extend plays the same way he did last year. Tough to tell if the lead had any impact on this. Something to watch though in the coming weeks.

Bijan / Gibbs - 0 / 2. Not worried, both looked explosive and will see more snaps as they get further into their rookie season. A very slight concern over Montgomery snap percentage but Gibbs should still be fine.

Fans not feeling threatened by the Pats doesn’t meant they’re not still being hated on. I’ve seen plenty of people taking delight in Mac Jones’ shortcomings and he hasn’t really done too much to justify those types of responses (and if you think he has, then you’ve made my point for me because no one would really care if he was wearing a Carolina uniform instead of New England). Bill Belichick is still around, I don’t think he’s suddenly beloved now that Brady’s gone.

Nobody cares or discusses the Pats in a competitive light at this juncture, more of just a punching bag who cares kind of discussion. Wouldn't classify that as hater, but whatever, they're irrelevant.

Stroud was in a tough spot, but I thought he looked fine. He'll come along.

You know who I thought looked really good? Houston's other 1st RD pick. That guy is a wrecking machine.

Edit - Nevermind. Not going to counter hubris with hubris. I disagree, moving on.
