CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Carolina Panthers practiced again Friday without receiver Steve Smith and center Justin Hartwig.
While Smith (hamstring) and Hartwig (groin) remained listed as questionable for Sunday's game at Minnesota, neither player has practiced this week.
Smith, the league's top receiver last season, has been out since straining his right hamstring in practice Sept. 5. Without Smith, the Panthers failed to score a touchdown in their 20-6 season-opening loss to Atlanta.
Hartwig was injured in the fourth quarter against the Falcons.
Drew Carter would likely replace Smith and Geoff Hangartner would probably fill in for Hartwig against the Vikings.
