it's over.

left because he couldn't do it mentally, had a good time with JJ. thought he kept a good handle of the TO situation, cognizant of not yelling at him. gave romo some things he needs to improve to be successful.

said his biggest disappointments were the jets championship and maybe the seattle loss.

thought the team got full of themselves (too immature) and struggled down the stretch, but felt they played well in seattle (just unfortunate things happened) and liked their chances against the bears.

disturbed by the dallas def collapse. thought it was due to lack of pressure and ellis' lose was the reason, and no one stepped up.

blamed his lack of success on not having a qb. said he didn't have good protection for vinny and bledsoe. then got good protection and bledsoe failed. really didn't get a good situation until romo came in.

he's moving his stuff up to NY and was going to do something: TV or Consulting or ...

He's still pissed off that Joe Namath's Jets defeated the Baltimore Colts in the Superbowl which is the main reason he retired earlier this week.

jets afc championship game was up 10-0, and thought he would kill the falcons since they beat them badly earlier in the year

yup the 1998 AFC championship against the Broncos. Broncos got some breaks in that game.Jets 0 3 7 0 10Broncos 0 0 20 3 23But Hall missed a couple of kicks that game and getting shutdown after scoring early in the 3rd quarter didn't help.

The Keith Byers fumble was a KILLER!! That play really turned the game the Broncos way. Damn I'm still pissed about that..

You have to take the good with the bad. If I remember the Jets 7 points in the third quarter was from a blocked punt that they recovered on the 1 yard line. That was their only offensive TD. Not a good showing when you can only score when you can block a punt. Byers did fumble when Romo knocked the ball out, but championship teams need to overcome those events. It was a good game, but the Jets weren't the best team that day.

Parcells has had a great career, too bad he moved around too much though and will be remembered for that.

You mean NJ, no?
He said Saratoga.I haven't looked at it, but usually www.wfan.com puts the recorded interviews up on their site.
He and francesca both have houses in saddle river and saratoga. His saddle river home used to be near me, was curious if he still lived there or if that became his wife's in the divorce....oh well. Thanks anyway for the info.
