At $47M per year, Parsons is the highest-paid non-QB in history and nets 2 1st rounders for Dallas.

The hit rate on expensive FA and late 1st are both really bad.
The hit rate on re-signing your own studs is much better. And the Cowboys put themselves in a hole with the Prescott deal, and Parsons, by waiting and waiting.
So NOW, yeah he's mad expensive. The second his 3rd year was up, they should have been doing a deal. But Jerry thinks players should give a discount for playing in DAL and tried to cut a deal without the agent/lawyers involved (just....scummy behavior). Micah knew his value, and got pissed.
So yeah, they got two 1's, that's nice, and maybe those picks get them the next great QB. Then yeah, it's a win. If GB wins a Super Bowl during Parsons time there, that's a win as well.
