Passing Matchups (1 Viewer)

Pardon me while I pitnick Wimers passing matchup Rankings.

Team "A" and "B" are facing each other this week.

Team A Def - 15 Ints, 27 sacks, average 234.4 net passing yards allowed per game with 17 passing scores handed out.

Team B Def - 12 Ints, 25 sacks, average 242.1 net passing yards allowed per game with 18 passing scores handed out.

Team A is playing at home which is an advantage, but overall the defs are relatively close, especially when you consider team B has given up fewer points and played the top 2 Qbs\Offenses (team A has not).

Team A is rated with a good matchup

Team B is rated with a tuff matchup.

Imho, they both should have good or neutral matchups and I'm surprised to see a two tier gap between the two.

We will find out soon enough and I will probably eat some crow for this, but as you may have guessed I think team B's Def is as good if not better than teams A's.

And yes I am off for a few days and probably have a little too much time on my hands :D

I think the home advantage for GB has been very distinct this year.

At home GB is averaging..

1.6 INTs, 3.8 sacks and 230 passing yards and 1.2 passing TDs per game

Away GB is averaging..

1.16 INTs, 1.5 sacks and 237 passing yards and 1.8 passing TDs per game

Anyway, I'm not sure who Wimer is but I can understand why he may weight the aforementioned stats more heavily. That being said, I think statistically the match-ups are neutral.
