How on earth did he not make the pro bowl?
I would tend to agree, although not by much. He will be #1 in my next set of rankings, sometime in January. He is an absolute beast. The one thing I caution on is that the defense is on the field more than any other team because of the terrible offense and lowest time of possession. So his numbers could drop a bit if the offense gets better.Move over DeMeco ... there's a new sherriff in town.![]()
he did. he's backing up Lofa Tatupu at MLB.http://www.mercurynews.com/ci_7758024?sour...;nclick_check=1How on earth did he not make the pro bowl?

I'm in 2 leagues why??One EFS and one just like it.do i need to draft a lb in 2008?Demeco RyansDavid HarrisPatrick WillisLance BriggsJon BeasonCalvin PaceJames Harrisonall under contract thru 2009Jgb95: How many owners are in your league? You have an amazing linebacking corps. I had Ryans, Willis, Peterson, EJ Henderson, Justin Durant on my team, and I did win out Fantasy football super bowl. Defence wins championships! - 20 team keeper w/ IDP
I believe he was asking how many owners are in that league where you have all those LB's.jgb95 said:I'm in 2 leagues why??
I think it was not that hard to get those LBs with adequate foresight. I will not claim I would be one with that kind of a foresigh and do congragulate jgb95 for scooping up these dudes. In all hind sight Patrick Willis went like early in the 2nd, Beason late in 2nd, Harris went late 3rd in fantasy rookie drafts this year - way later in normal formats. And I remember clearly that DeMeco Ryans was far down in the 3rd round last year... he was supposed to be behind what's his face, Sam Cowart? Good Job man. All around talents like Willis are derailed only if they're moved to a terrible role within their scheme or injury. There's no reason Willis doesn't put up consistent top five numbers until he grows old (like Ray Lewis or Zach Thomas) but there's always a risk that he flames out early with injury (like Dan Morgan) or scheme issues (like Jonathan Vilma).Today, however, he's as safe as DeMeco Ryans. Willis has the skill set and mentality of an inside linebacker, so even if Mike Nolan gets canned, there's no reason to suspect Willis be "schemed" out of the top ten anytime soon.I am soooo glad I drafted him.I wonder what kind of trade I could get for him? What is the relative longevity og LB's?
