Patriots are now a Dynasty (1 Viewer)

I practically own rolling eyes in a lot of circumstances. I didn't even take offense. You're entitled to your opinion about my opinion, and I'm entitled to my opinion that your opinion about my opinion sucks. ;)Moving on as requested... :)
LOL. This reminds me of that episode from Happy Days when big nose Al tries to pick a fight with Chaci's basketball recruiter:"All right, which opinion do you want? Do you want this opinion (swings right fist)? Or do you want this opinion (swings the left)?" :D

Curious to see if this thread will still hold up in this day and age. Knowing what we know now

Good Lord,

I had to do a double take when I saw this oldie pulled up from the ashes.

I think the bottom line of this thread was it is all based on opinion. Pats fans will say they're a dynasty, Pats haters will say they aren't, the neutral voices will start to sway away from the middle in light of the recent offense, and conspiracy theorists will spend countless hours hashing through old game footage trying to support their theories.

Raider fan will continue to be disgruntled about the 'tuck rule' and will now throw sign stealing into the myriad reasons why they were robbed on that snowy night....momentarily forgetting that the Pats sideline couldn't see the Raiders sideline if they had infrared equipment.

Steeler fan and Colt fan will use this as justification as to why each were robbed of their own shot to "own the decade."

At the end of the day, it's all comes down to opinion. My opinion is I don't really care all that much about how their past is perceived. The Lombardis are not going to leave the trophy case. More to the point, should they get another one or two, none of the naysayers out there can pull the "cheating" arrow out of their quiver.

It'll be OK here and I understand that will irritate the haters. But I won't apologize for their past successes. For those who continue to take issue with the Pats, all I can say is that you have an issue you'll need to resolve on your own. This chapter is over and this Pats fan is moving on. Tail between the leg, maybe, but moving on nonetheless.

You have made some very valid points there.

The theory that the Patriots gained advantage by analyzing signal tape over halftime just doesn’t hold water statistically. This is especially true when compared with the offensive output of the Patriots’ opponents in the second half. These opponents more than DOUBLED their total scoring in the second half of the game versus the first.
