**Patriots at Buccaneers**(-2.5, 48) 1:00 (9 Viewers)

Bye week couldn't have come at a much better time for TB. Biggest news is getting RT Luke Goedecke back. I think TB can at least be a stalemate now with the Pats DL.

I think Rachaad White has a nice week in the receiving game. Pats have a top run defense, but I wouldn't be shying away from White. I also like Emeka Egbuka coming off a week to rest his hammy. I think he could be a top-5 WR this week, and I'm fully expecting 10+ targets.

I think the Bucs D is vastly underrated. This quietly might be the best secondary in the NFL. Jamel Dean has always been good but seems to have taken the leap to elite this year. Winfield has been elite whenever healthy, and 2nd year played Tykee Smith and rookie Jacob Parrish have been finds. Zyon McCollum is also solid. I think NE is gonna miss both Rhamondre Stevenson and Kayshon Boutte this week. This is a really rough matchup for Drake Maye, I'm not saying bench him by any means, but maybe lower expectations.

Bucs-31
Pats-17

This should be a very entertaining game
Drake is playing lights out
And Baker will fight, scratch and claw all day
I think The Home Teams Defense will play well enough to slow down The Drake Express
And The Baker will make a few plays to secure an exciting victory
so...

The Baker's Pies- 27

Drakes Cakes- 23

Everyone on the Bucs? Probably going to be the Pats.

Goedeke back is huge for the offense. Egbuka has been slowed with the hamstring. I think he’s back full strength. I’d like to see more creativity from the offense. Maybe that can happen with a healthier line. This is as good as it’s going to get.

Tampa’s D has been sneaky good, but they’re really vulnerable in the middle of the field. If Bowles blitzes, and he just can’t help himself, Maye will eat them up inside.

agreed on paper. Maye has been the nuts versus blitz. I just think NE's been getting all the bounces lately and they're do for some scoreboard regression.

Bucs 24...Patriots 20
I think the Bucs cover and could win rather easily but being a Bucs's fan I am BIASED

Pats haven't really beaten anyone of note, the Bucs would be a big feather in their camp
Meanwhile the Bucs have faced a much tougher schedule, have appeared in many Playoff games including the Super Bowl going back to 2020
They might have the longest Playoff appearances in the 2020s but don't hole me to it
The point is this is a HUGE game for the Pats on the road and this is just another Sunday game for the Bucs

80 degrees and humid today, slippery football
There is a chance the Bucs blowout the Patriots today but they also are missing 2 star WRs and a star RB, 2 OL...
I'll stick with 24-20

nice to see Williams finally get involved. @MOP, you should have he wasn't a RFA or anything...a third rounder I think?

We live in an era of the NFL where punting after having 3rd and 2 on your own 35-40 yd line
Kind of embarrassing you can't convert that short yardage situation

That was a really bad way to end your drive Buccaneers

Man, stick a fork in Henderson (if you haven't already). If you can't get in the end zone from the half yard line on two attempts, its just not gonna be in the cards for him this season

I have no shares but that seems foolish when the lead back has a fumbling, speed, and foot problem.

REALLY foolish.

Part of Henderson's problem is certainly the Patriots' sketchy offensive line.

Give him (or any running back with talent) a hole to run through and you can see good productionn.

... he just doesn't play the game the right way according to Vrabel., Look at that 55 yard touchdown... all wrong. I think he needs to be benched for a quarter until he learns how McDanies does things.

And don’t get me started on Kyle Williams. 72 yards in one play? WTF are these rookies thinking. To the bench with you!

Vrabel decides to roll the dice 4th and 5, Bucs 42, kind of a long FG
Bucs down 21-10, score a TD, get a turnover on downs in good field position
Bucs with a chance to seize control on this drive
