**Patriots at Saints**(+3.5, 46) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

Such a big game for the Pats...you can't lose this one after winning at Buffalo...that would be a step backwards...I expect the Pats to stub their toe at some point, but it shouldn't be this week or next week at Tennessee...these are two very winnable games...they are on the road but neither team has a QB that should give the Pats too much trouble...Pats have a lot of momentum right now and they need to come out of this game at 4-2...would love to see them have a no doubt game but as long as they get the win it will be a step in the right direction.

I've been impressed by Spencer Rattler so far this season. He's got some moxie, and decent mobility and arm strength. He looks like a guy who maybe should have been a day 2 pick last year. That said, the Pats just had a bunch of success against a FAR better offense and QB, and I think will keep the momentum going. I'm curious about Alvin Kamara. Sounds like he's playing, and 1 thing I thought Buffalo missed last week was targeting RBs out of the backfield as NE isn't exactly quick at LB. Assuming health, I wonder if this could be your classic 6+ catch game from Kamara.

Despite the stats not really showing it last week, that was the best game of Drake Maye's young career. Going into Buffalo and beating the Bills was huge, just unfortunate that Stevenson got the TDs. I doubt that's the case this week. Stefon Diggs is an interesting question for me as well. How much of last week was extreme motivation vs him just being back? I'm inclined to think he gave it his 110% best effort last week (he himself said the game was personal) and that shouldn't be the expectation production wise going forward, but this is another strong matchup.

I think the Patriots cover. Maybe bet the under.

I think Diggs is going to be a machine the rest of the year...obviously the stats won't be in the same ballpark but he reminds me of when Moss came here...he had been given his last rights but he actually had a lot more left in the tank as long as he got to the right situation...like Moss, Diggs is in the perfect situation...he is by far their best WR and he is playing with a legit QB...I think he puts up big #'s this year...much better than even those high on him going into the year thought...he is in an absolutely prime fantasy situation right now.

Lets concentrate on the backs improving yards after contact. Pats are running like last in that category along with broken tackle rate.

Patriots look like a playoff team
Saints coming off a win over The Mighty Giants
Interesting game
But I'll say...

Pats- 30

Saints- 20

I nearly made a "mistake" I confused Boutte and Bourne and put Boutte in my lineup last night then caught it this morning and took Boutte out.

Damn

That was more PI than what they just called on Diggs…real badly officiated game…these refs seem over their head.

rare occassion where I really have no idea...punch clearly moved the ball but seemed he still had it pinned to his gut when he hit the ground

If this one doesn't get overturned...ball was clearly out.
didnt think it was that clear....thought he had re-established control at a different position. BUt was clearly loose for a moment right after the punch.

I noticed his hands weren't on the ball at all as he was going down...he was cradling it without control - thus it coming loose when he hit the ground. Just my opinion.

Nice win against a scrappy Saints team…they were better than I expected…Rattler is pretty good and they seemed well coached…this was one of those games where you just want to get out of there with a win…difference in the game was Drake Maye.
