when were Patriots given a CHANCE?
Oh, I don't know...how about January 19th?How about
January 21st?
How about
January 24th?
How about
January 27th?
How about when they refused to allow Wells to re-interview McNally after discovering the "deflator" text?
How about when Brady refused to share copies of his electronic text records?
That's 6 chances, off the top of my head...they literally had the chance EVERY DAY since the AFCC to do what I said. They chose not to, and they brought this on themselves, by thinking they were above the rules, above every other franchise, and above the NFL. If they had possessed even the tiniest shred of humility, and said "we screwed up, in a very minor way," this would have ended months ago. Instead they chose to make the situation much bigger than it needed to be by denying, lying, demanding apologies, refusing to cooperate, etc. They've no one to blame but themselves for how ridiculously overblown this became.
Oyyy,The Chris Mortensen\NFL public crucification\lynching of Brady (Jan 21) was like a nuclear bomb and there was no way, no how to reverse it. Anyone who tries to claim otherwise is a fool, a hater or both. That ESPN report was a smear job full of lies designed to fire up all the butt hurt haters (Colts, Ravens, Steelers broncos etc) fans and convict NE and Brady in the court of public opinion. Mission accomplished, there is nothing Brady and NE can ever do that will stop the butt hurt Steeler\Colt\Raven\Bronco\Jets\etc fans from whining over NE kicking there ### year in and year out.
ESPN falsely reported the following and even though the NFL knew for a fact it was all lies they said and did nothing to correct it........
"The NFL has found that 11 of the
New England Patriots' 12 game balls were inflated significantly below the NFL's requirements, league sources involved and familiar with the investigation of Sunday's AFC Championship Game told ESPN.
"
The investigation found the footballs were inflated 2 pounds per square inch below what's required by NFL regulations during the Pats'
45-7 victory over the
Indianapolis Colts, according to sources.
"We are not commenting at this time," said Greg Aiello, the NFL's senior vice president of communications."

These were out and out lies and smears released for one hateful nasty purpose and one purpose only.
Whether you believe NE and or Brady did anything wrong or not, it is undeniable that once the ESPN smear came out on the 21st there is nothing NE or Brady could have done that would have made one bit of difference to the whiney butt hurt tools, never mind the poisoning of opinion of the casual nfl fan and the percentage of the population who didn't already envy and detest NE to begin with. There really was\is no way of coming back from the ESPN\league hatchet\smear job that came out on Jan21.
Carry on....
