Just watched a guy come in with a revolutionary war bond created by Paul Revere. Expert: it's worth 25k and would probably get 30k at one of my auctions. So instead of asking the guy when his next auction is, he sells it to Rick for 12k and a ####ing Fender guitar. :loco: :loco:
Lots of annoying shtick on this fake show.A recent dandy was that dope Big Hoss considering a 2003 Lamborghini Murciélago. They bring in a guy who says it's worth 85-90k. The guy wants 120k. Hoss goes up to 95k, but the guy wont budge at 100k. So confusing.

That car was  ...But 5K is 5K. It's not like they were twenty bucks apart.

That's what they focused on at the end, but the car was valued at 85-90k. How was he going to turn a profit at 95k?

No chance. Danny low-balled the guy on that one. That car could pull $115K all day long.

Didn't you just rag on the people who think things are worth way more than the experts appraise them for?

Anyone see the new episode last night featuring "Cecilia the poor college student" who tried to sell that military water?Good Lord! :wub:My first-born to whomever locates her Facebook, Twitter, or pics of her in very little clothing.

She kinda reminded me of Kate Mara from "House of Cards" for some reason...

Ya she was crazy hot. Actually rewound it and watched it twice. Cory couldn't wipe that smirk off his face.

Corey drooled over her and then said "I can't go more than two hundred dollars, man."
:lmao:I get a strong "bags of sand" vibe from him.
He totally blew it, too. As disgusting as he is, it seemed like she was actually feelin him a little bit. And she had just stressed how she was a POOR COLLEGE STUDENT. "Okay... two hundred dollars and dinner tomorrow night. That's my final offer."

 ed her. And Corey is a total derp for missing out on a golden opportunity. I thought that's where they were going to go with it, actually.

Might be the wrong thread but it's in the same ballpark. This Mary chick on storage wars Texas got something about her. Hugh likey. The blonde hair chick is way hotter but Mary got that look like "I'd #### some dude who spends hours a day on a fantasy football site, no problem."

You know, I taking the dog out as went to commercial, and I remember hearing a preview of the next segment and some chick talking about selling old water cans. Didn't get around to watching it when I got back. Apparently, I should've taken a closer look.

I keep wondering how much research the old museum guy does on an item before being interviewed for the segment. Noone can know as much as that guy knows about such a diverse universe of items.

I assume all of the "experts" do quite a bit of advance research. They know a ton of detail about each item.

:goodposting: She's kinda like Mary Ann to Ginger.

I doubt Rick calls anyone, whether it's going to be on TV or not, and just says "Come down here, I got something for you to look at." Most likely, the guy on the other end says "What is it?" and Rick says "Guy here claims he's got the Pope's bedroom slippers, and I need you to tell me if they're legit."

Or when they take a trip to someone's house to look at a vehicle. They ask how much they want, and the first thing they say is "I've got to have my buddy take a look at it." Like they took a half hour drive to some guys house without Danny in the car in the first place. Just show him taking the trip, stop with the "I have a buddy" stuff.

I like the episode where someone comes in with something that is worth a lot and Rick offers him thousands less than he should....and the old man #####es at somebody....and Chumly is busted doing the stupid.....and big hoss acts tough. That one is my fave.

I think I saw that one too. :lmao:

"But I've shopped around and a signed JFK picture is going for AT LEAST five grand!"[Rick looks conflicted/annoyed]"You gotta understand... I have to FRAME this thing (huge sigh) and it's probably going to sit here for 14 years."

Love it when Big Hoss does his little info chats on stuff that he really knows nothing about.

Followed by the roundhouse handshake and near-heart attack.

One dude on the Pawn Stars FB page mentioned how hot she was. Other than that... :tumbleweed:She'll turn up eventually.

He's the most phony & obvious negotiator. Total cliche. I think he works from a script stolen from a car dealership. If I ever had something to pawn and got into negotiating with him, I think I'd make the most money off him by using his own technique against him. He's almost always "Get them to put out the first number, then offer them half." That and that stupid roundhouse handshake he does kills me. It's like he's trying to draw an invisible broadsword out of his back pocket every time he shakes hands. I'm surprised he hasn't accidentally knocked over someone on the other side of the counter pulling that thing around.

Agree on both of these. I couldn't help myself but groan a little when Cecilia came one. That would have been cool but I was in bed watching it with my wife. :bag:I hope Counts punches Cory in the groin.

Hmmmm...
“Pawn Stars” and porn pics apparently don’t mix.

Gold and Silver Pawn Shop employee Olivia Black was reportedly fired from the store after nude photos of her surfaced online.

“Well s**t....I was just fired,” the 27-year-old posted on Facebook.

Black then posted a link to a Radar Online article about her dismissal that states her firing came after photos were printed in the National Enquirer that revealed her racy past. Black reportedly worked for the soft-core porn website SuicideGirls.com back in 2008 before she started working at the pawn shop about a year ago.

But it seems she has no hard feelings toward her former coworkers.

“Nay, sadly this is not a joke....I no longer work for Gold and Silver Pawn Shop, it has been a whirlwind of a year, and now I must move on,” she wrote on Facebook. “Just as simple as downsizing. It is of no fault of the guys. I still adore my bosses fully!!!”

Now, she seems to be moving on.

“The tear have dried and the smiles have returned, I'm fortunate to have worked for ‘Pawn Stars’ at all,” she tweeted Wednesday.

A&E Networks had no comment on Black's dismissal.

Also if they were gonna bring a chick onto the show they shoulda brought that Peaches chick. She was only on one or two episodes but she was nice. And her name was Peaches.

I would hire Cecilia the poor college student and have her work in skimpy lingerie.
