Pawn Stars on History Channel (4 Viewers)

They are doing a good job of making over Rebecca. She looked really nice last night with her hair styled and more makeup. She looked really good. And the last two times she was on the show she just happend to be there.

FYI: Two hours of new stuff tonight:

9:00 - A Very Vegas Christmas

10:00 - Another Christmas Story

I can't even imagine what we're in for.

Over/under on hearty, wheezing laughs by Rick: 32½.

Yeah. I think she has a big can, but she is a cute girl.

And how convenient that she happened to be at the shop working on books in the back with Rick. Why do I smell another spin-off coming.

A guy walks in with an incredibly rare first-edition book from the late 1700s which was used to train soldiers in the Revolutionary War.

Rebecca comes in and immediately gushes over it.

"This is the original binding put on by the binder in 1779. That is exceptional by itself. Any collector of Americana and the American revolution... they're going to want this, and they're going to want it BAD, because you don't see these copies."

She then estimates its retail value at $18,000.

[exit Rebecca]

Customer: "Okay, how about $12,000?"

Rick: "You know how it is -- the more expensive it is, the longer it sits."

Rebecca's a hottie mchotterson. Totes McGotes. I hope she does get her own show.

Especially if there's more stuff like that revolutionary war book. She was gushing over that thing. You could tell she was making her panties damp holding that book against her bewbs.

Lately, it seems they're trying to show more books so they can get her on more often. The only other time they get hot chicks on are right after the commercial breaks when they show clips of random customers. About half the time there's a good looking girl bending over a display case.

They've really cut back on the hot chick boob shots this season.

Just got this from a producer:

I just wanted to follow up regarding your fishing reels. When do you think you can be in Vegas to film with us? Looking forward to it!
This thread just picked up!!! :)
It'll be worth watching just to see Chet offer to sell for $20k, only to be countered with, "I was thinking more like $700."
Well, to be fair, the market is not what it used to be, and let's face it, Rick's taking all the risk.

Even better once the old man gets involved and starts going down from the $700. "We're in the middle if a desert, son. Not too many people come in here looking for fly fishing gear."

"Two hundred is gonna be top of the mark, son."

Chet: "But, with global warming, this vast desert will be a vast sea/ocean soon enough."

"Me and my buddy Bob from St. Louis and my other buddy Dr. Shuke from Detriot went out on my Bryant Boat.and tried these babies out. They are definitely worth 20k - I had them.appraised by another guy named Bob from Sacramento - Bob Sacamano. He'll vouch for me. I'm not taking a penny less than 20k Rick, you see this penny [shows penny to the camera]. Not a penny less. And speaking of pennies, if you aren't interested in these reels, I have some wheat pennies out in my car I could show you."

And you have to understand, these are going to be sitting here a looong time. I don't have a lot of people coming in here asking about buying fishing reels.

Hey, Chum just happened to be driving along on some street when he just happens to see one of the most rare bikes ever made, and the guy just happens to need money for a legal matter, so it's for sale, and he lets the guy know that he just happens to work at a pawn shop, and he makes deals like this all the time. Chum ends up making an $8,700 impulse buy.

Good thing he had a camera crew with him!!!

Gonna have to delete the show from recording on my dvr. The fake little skits have gotten to be too much. I know they've always been there but its now 70% of the show. The items aren't nearly as cool anymore and its basically just poorly acted short skits. Chumlee's fake idiot act was always my least favorite part of the show and now he's the main character.

"Sure, I'm only giving you $400 for this World War II cart that I'm going to sell for four grand, but it's going to take up space in my store!!!"

At least the hardcore pawn guys have the decency to admit they list everything on eBay.
All Hardcore Pawn would have to do to be a good show is pay people 5 dollars to tell the camera why they are pawning this or that. In Detroit, the stories would be plenty entertaining.

Agree 100%. I used to really like the show but it is unwatchable now.

... with hair. Wish he'd lose the hat so I could see it in all it's glory.
I saw a show on the travel channel about las Vegas that had Rick on it. He had hair and was wearing suspenders. The only way I recognized him was his voice. After I took a closer look I figured it out.

I'll see if I can find the show somewhere when I get home in the morning.
