Well, if that's the case then I guess there's no need for anyone to ever play fantasy football again because I guess you'll always win and beat everyone who's ever played the game. If you're that great I would think you'd have won enough money at FF to retire and never work again. I mean if I were as great as you I'm sure I'd never have to worry about money again. You DO play FF for money don't you? I certainly would if I were unbeatable. What's the point in playing something for free if you're unbeatable. Let me know what league you'll be in for the 2007 WCOFF. I want to bet all of my assets in Vegas on you to be the WCOFF champion. Hell, I can't lose. Thank God I found out about you while I'm still young enough to parlay my earnings betting on you to win at fantasy football. I should be able to retire from working soon with this kind of information. Oh, try not to let too many people know about your success or it'll deflate your market value.

Nice work B-K........I can't tell you how thrilled I am with landing the 8 spot in PDSL3. I actually prefer to be right in the middle of these kinds of drafts. Never too far from my next pick.

Oh, and having Domination land right next to me at the 9 spot is priceless. It will be the first time in six years that we actually draft right next to each other with meaningful picks. (Two years ago he won the championship in our keeper league, beating the tar out of me in our Super Bowl, thus earning the 12th pick while I had the 11th pick the following year. Thing is, I had traded away my first 6 rounds of picks and he was finished drafting before I even made my first selection so we did not really have to deal with each other.)

My mother died having a very bad heart attack so back off jerkoff. You can slam me all you want but you better use a little common sense when talking about other people's family members. For the record so you don't add him as well, my father had died 4 months previously to my mother of a heart attack as well. I think it'd be in your best interest to leave my family members out of your moronic statements.

Hey Doc, don't let this guy get under your skin. Try and stick around a couple more days.....it gets rolling soon!He tried to do the same over in the White Elephant draft thread, but it didn't work. He's just a newbie looking to see where he fits in. I'd like to see how this guy drafts, as well as how you draft. I find that these efforts go a long way towards preping myself for my live draft leagues. You might find it is well worth sticking around.What say you?

Guys, I'm in the middle of trying a case, so I can't really get involved here. I'd suggest a PM to Pasquino or one of the original PDSL guys to get a ruling on what to do.

I make one comment back after he wrote a couple paragraphs in this thread and the other one and he chickens out and drops the league, Im sorry but I just dont feel any sense of remorse because he started the smack. I went through alot of trouble when it looked like PDSL3 wasnt going to happen to go out and recruit members 11 members and Im NOT (100%) leaving this league. Doc was even one of the people I recruited, I have no problem with him, NONE. I enjoy a little smack dialogue and unlike him I can take it. No one has said he has to leave, he's leaving on his own accord, he's trying to make me out to be the bad guy in this whole thing and thats just not true he was dishing out alot of smack in this thread and the other and I assumed he could take a little joke in reply but obviously he couldnt. He's still welcome to come back.

Couldn't have said it better. It wasn't the smack that had him or anyone else upset. It was the comment about his mother. Besides that I had no problem with your schtick. The comment you made was inappropriate, and no one's family should ever be brought into any smack. You can rip me or my opinions, and I wouldn't care what you said, but if you were to involve my family in some way I would be upset. Under the circumstances, I would expect for even you to understand the the comment was not in good taste. It is not hard for you to come off as the "bad guy", when you follow up you comment, with one about his being chicken. If you would had shown even just a little remorse for your comments, then I think that there would have been no problem. We are all adults here, and should own up to the mistakes that we make.

i dont fault norris for the mom joke. they are pretty common and although I probably wouldnt use one on someone I dont know, I cant really say its an awful thing to do. I do fault him on the lack of remorse and empathy after finding out about doc's situation. His first response was finding someone to replace him and saying he chickened out. No Class.

I make one comment back after he wrote a couple paragraphs in this thread and the other one and he chickens out and drops the league, Im sorry but I just dont feel any sense of remorse because he started the smack. I went through alot of trouble when it looked like PDSL3 wasnt going to happen to go out and recruit members 11 members and Im NOT (100%) leaving this league. Doc was even one of the people I recruited, I have no problem with him, NONE. I enjoy a little smack dialogue and unlike him I can take it. No one has said he has to leave, he's leaving on his own accord, he's trying to make me out to be the bad guy in this whole thing and thats just not true he was dishing out alot of smack in this thread and the other and I assumed he could take a little joke in reply but obviously he couldnt. He's still welcome to come back.

Under the circumstances, your response seems woefully inadequate.

Couldn't have said it better. It wasn't the smack that had him or anyone else upset. It was the comment about his mother. Besides that I had no problem with your schtick. The comment you made was inappropriate, and no one's family should ever be brought into any smack. You can rip me or my opinions, and I wouldn't care what you said, but if you were to involve my family in some way I would be upset. Under the circumstances, I would expect for even you to understand the the comment was not in good taste. It is not hard for you to come off as the "bad guy", when you follow up you comment, with one about his being chicken. If you would had shown even just a little remorse for your comments, then I think that there would have been no problem. We are all adults here, and should own up to the mistakes that we make.

I personally could have handled the "mom" joke if it was directed at me......the "mom" joke was what it was. BUT, a very big but, as soon as you realized you touched a very tender nerve with Doc you should have apologized and offered condolences. Instead, you chose to call him out on being a "chicken". Obviously you have no class, or you would have realized the insensitivity of you comments. Yet, even today you still have not said anything to indicate that you realize how rude and inconsiderate you've been. Even my 14 year old would realize this and apologize profusely. If you are still around when this gets started I will be more than happy to watch you receive more than your share of crap from the others in the league. The guy in your avatar has more class than you and he's a fictional character!!!!! Suggestion.....why don't you try to be more like him.

I'm sure glad I'm in #2 and Norris is in #3. He's clueless.The shtick isn't funny. If it isn't shtick, then good luck with him boys. I'm sure the shtick includes the ripping and smack talk of every single draft choice. It's already old. It will only get worse.

Yo guys...I've been the pre-season commish along with Duke1948 for most of these leagues since the inception so I'll weigh in with some opinion here.

Norris - Don't be a Richard. Don't blame you for the original comment as much worse is said around here and you couldn't have know. The appropriate thing to do would be to PM Niner an apology and invite him back to settle it on the fantasy football field. FYI...you sctick will wear thin on these vets around here. If you want to emulate Lhucks, accumulate an occasional championship like he occasionaly lucks into first.

Niner - These leagues are a lot of fun, might want to reconsider and we'd like you back. Either way it's cool.

Everyone else - Remember the saying about glass houses. Plenty of comments around here about short buses, inferior PAC10 educations, sexual orientation, etc....in light of that yo momma jokes usually aren't considered offensive. Let's just drop what happened above and take it to the ff battle field.

Start date - April 1, clock starts on Monday.

Weekend clock - Will be necessary. unfortunately I may need a co-owner to assist me because of this with turkey season coming in.

Timing out - your 8 hour clock will be cut in half each time, no double clocks for the guys on the ends.

1st round no shows - get moved to the 16 spot and everyone else moves up one spot. 4 hour clock when that pick comes up the next time. Once that expires the owner is replaced.

disappearing acts - miss three picks and the drafts stops until you can be replaced.

20 rounds of drafting, otherwise normal survivor league rules.
