Gamma's always great at PM'ing me JP but thanks for the reminder. Crazy day at work, I tried to get on at lunch for literally the 90 seconds I had free, but the Chris Baker pick meant I had to think a little bit and I didn't have time. Working pays bills but it sucks for drafts of free imaginary sports leagues that exist on forums via the internetz. At least working here does, i'm sure some of you turds have all day to spend on here... like i did at my old job.

Anyway my picks are pretty simple after all, I didn't want to go 3 TE but the bye weeks have both my TE's fall on week 8, so I have no choice but to pick...

15.16 Leonard Pope, TE, ARI

And I need another K before I get Morten Anderson or Jeff Wilkins (OH NOEZ NAME DROPPING!!) at 17.16 so...

Yes, my first pick timed out. But once I make that pick, I still have my four hours. Renesauz' pick can be allowed to stand, but there's no reason why I should not be granted the all powerful clock that you were. The rules clearly state that I am to be given eight hours to make my pick. If I fail to make my pick, I get four hours for my next pick. Tomorrow is the date that restricted free agents must sign. It is critically important to my draft strategy that I be allowed to see who signed and who did not. After all, everyone else will have multiple picks with that information. Let's make sure we get all the rules out on the table. The clock is not just there to make sure people can deal with their day to day activities. It is a POWERFUL STRATEGIC DEVICE that must be used to maximize my advantage at every pick.

I thought the clock rules on the turn weren't doubled. Did I misread the rules?

Dude, you are better than this.1. The NW pick was his 16th, so of course it stands. You weren't up yet.2. The corners have 1 clock for their 2 picks, and have for a while. This means the corner gets less actual time, but that is the way it is. Pick already. Renesauz is up also.

remind me not to be in a league with you again. I understand you're upset about JP using the rules for his benefit. At least he can read and isn't acting like a 3 year old.

that could be read two different ways. clearer language would read1) 8 hour clock (for the turn you must submit both picks within that clock)2) 8 hour clock (for the turn you have 8 hours, and if timed out, another 4 hours)Everyone seems to be offering their opinion on this stuff, so here's mine:bostonfred, you made your point, i agree with it, but we already know JP is a rabid cornball. He freakin COLORS HIS PICKS EVERY TIME and then always rubs a nut over them to tell us how awesome they are. That's him, we all get it. He's the kid that plays tackle football during a game of 2-hand touch, then acts like he doesn't know his own strength. Of course he's going to delay the draft for his advantage.On the other hand, I didn't think you were that way. Sure, you wanna be the one that tackles the tackler to teach him a lesson, but man, it's still 2-hand touch. If you can get on to make your pick, then do it. I hate waiting 72 hours to make my next picks.
