Been a fan for quite a while (I think I first saw a video link on FB). And yes, that Christmas special was very well done.

I told Alexa to play some Christmas music and 2 or 3 of those songs made the playlist. My oldest grand daughter knew right away who they were.

I remember seeing them on Sing-Off thinking the same thing. For only 5 people, these guys put out an amazing sound. They seemed to get better with every episode as well. Very fun to watch/listen to - and their cover of Little Drummer Boy is now a Xmas staple around the Peak Household. The wife and kids love listening to it as they decorate the house.

Actually watched the sing off with the wife and kids that year. They were incredible and just keep getting better.
The one high singing dude looks stranger by the day though. The percussion they do is just nuts too and the low notes the one guy can hit. Really good stuff.
Their cover of Mary Did you Know is fantastic too.
And agree that their YouTube channel is a time sink.

Yeah we were big Sing Off fans as well. GF got into it then dragged me in... turns out I actually enjoyed it. Home Free is another standout group, but overall Pentatonix are the cream of the crop. Their arrangements, musicality (ability to create sounds/instruments, not just sing), and range of styles are pretty much unparalleled.

I tried to watch the Christmas special because I thought my toddler would enjoy it (he likes a song they did on Sesame Street), but I was incredibly distracted by that one dude's short sweater, long shirt, gigantic Liberace cuffs ensemble.

They ARE annoyingly commercial/corporate with the hustle... strongly dislike that. But I guess they see their 15 min window and are trying to capitalize hard.
