RB C. Perry May Be On PUP For Awhile?

Geoff Hobson, Bengals.com - [Full Article]

RB Chris Perry has missed all the spring camps with mysterious knee and ankle injuries and although it’s believed he’ll be back for the regular season, he’s not saying when he’ll be able to return. HC Marvin Lewis indicated he’ll be one of the longer ones on camp PUP.
Christmas Perry is as fragile as they come.. he has talent.. but man, this guy is never healthy

So who should we be watching: Kenny Watson or Quincy Wilson? If Perry can't go, someone has to be catching those passes on 3rd down in Rudi's place. Or do we bump Rudi up as he takes those touches?

The consensus on the Bengals MSG Board is that Watson is the #3 RB right now and has a better chance to make the final roster vs Wilson

IIRC, Watson played some WR in college, right?

Yes

If this is how Perry's career has gone is it safe to say I should try to trade him in my Dynasty league for Deangelo Williams or Maroney? Would I be able to get one of them straight up for him or would i have to throw in a 3rd or 4th tier reviever?

From everything Ive read his talent has me really scared about trading him. Like he could explode one day. The problem is, he might literally explode also.

Is he Deshaun Foster fragile?

How did he stay healthy in Michigan? Seems like he ran all over the place in college.

Not to imply that Rudi would get every snap on 3rd down, but if Perry can't go, I'm inclined to think that Rudi would be a lock to improve (significantly) on his 23 catches from a year ago. If this happens, Rudi has top-5 potential, IMHO.

Is Rudi a good enough reciever to efficiently take over every 3rd down snap? Or would his numbers just be better because he's getting the chances? (So as soon as someone else is able to they remove him from that role)
