Peyton Hillis As A Flex? (1 Viewer)

RB Peyton Hillis was underwhelming last week, but I still believe he's flex worthy against this Bills team. The Chiefs are brutal when playing from behind, but this could be the week they get back on track. Any thoughts regarding Hillis going forward?

Dodds has him ranked 25th this week, which makes him an average flex. That seems like a fair projection to me. This week will be very telling. If KC doesn't use him again, he falls into the Deangelo Williams range and is basically unstartable unless Charles gets hurt.

Dodds, Bloom, and "Wisdom of the Crowds" all have Hillis ranked in similar spots, which makes sense. Everyone is apprehensive after last week's game. The stuff changes week to week though and Dodds is reacting to the previous week more than anything else.If someone thinks this is a good matchup for Hillis and goes against the projections of sites which are reacting to the previous games, then go for it. We could all be talking about Hillis next week because he had 15 carries for 80+ yards and 2 TD's.Also, keep an eye on the rankings during the week. They change. Dodds had Ridley at 27th early in the week last week, then he was 13th by Sunday. And his stats made him the 4th RB overall in scoring. Dodds, Bloom, and everyone else are just taking educated guesses. It's no lock.

Personally, Im giving him another shot. I love him this year but week 1 was a big disappointment but they were losing. Also Charles did look great but it's only 1 week. I need to see more before I pull him. I think he will have a great year but I can see how some have doubt now. Once he breaks 1 and goes for a nice TD people will change there mind again quickly. Just my 2cents......good luck

I would have no problem flexing him this week. Odds are, KC won't be playing catch-up for an entire half again. I've been attempting to buy low.

I read that Hillis actually "started" for the Chiefs last week and got the first carry. Sounds like a buy low situation to me.
...and Gerhardt got the 2nd series for the Vikings. But I'm guessing you aren't buying low on him after seeing Peterson. Same goes for Charles. Any doubts about him being the clear starter going forward were erased by the time the game ended and he showed he's ready to return to stud status.

Yup, aside from the fact that he caught zero receptions in a game where his team was playing catch up for an entire half. That 46 yard run was a thing of beauty, but Charles specifically got a bump in PPR leagues. These recent set of events were alarming to say the least. McCluster took over that role, much like how Cobb is assuming the same role in GB. This is such a copycat league. Gotta keep up.
