This Brandon Marshall trade paves the way for Manning to sign with Miami, imo.
thoughts ?
thoughts ?
Was rumored that he wouldn't sign there because of Marshall. If they bring in Manning they'll bring in a FA.Why would he want to sign with them after losing his best weapon he would have there?
Frees up cap space for Manning and possibly Wayne to sign with Miami.Speculation but I think Manning would rather have Wayne than Marshall. Why would he want to sign with them after losing his best weapon he would have there?
You should quit the internet. This Brandon Marshall trade paves the way for Manning to sign with Miami, imo.thoughts ?
One would think they are only doing this if they knew they were signing Manning, Wayne, Clark, Saturday, Addai, and whatever other spare parts form Indy they can find.Hard to believe the Dolphins traded their best WR for 2 3rd rd picks for the longshot of getting Manning who had a problem with Brandon marshall being on the team.Really?
Dolphins just announced they are out of the running for Matt Flynn.Peyton is going there.peyton isnt going there
Are they buying a time machine too back to when those guys were in their primes?Trading Marshall frees up $10m in cap space...puts Miami at roughly $25m in cap space, guess they can clear the way out for Manning, Wayne, Clark, whatever else is needed.
I don't see it all like that MOP.This smells like a full rebuild type of move.Just can't see Peyton Manning saying he'll sign with the Dolphins ONLY IF they trade the malcontent Marshall away first.
Seems more likely that Tannehill ends up in Miami than Manning. Matt Moore could be the starter in 2012 while the rookie learns the ropes.Dolphins just announced they are out of the running for Matt Flynn.Peyton is going there.peyton isnt going there

Why would Miami announce they are no longer interested in Matt Flynn ?I don't see it all like that MOP.This smells like a full rebuild type of move.Just can't see Peyton Manning saying he'll sign with the Dolphins ONLY IF they trade the malcontent Marshall away first.
Where are you seeing that? I could see this, but it's a huge gamble by Miami- I'd only make this move if I had Peyton and company with pen in hand ready to sign the deal.Other reports said Manning wasn't considering the Dolphins because Marshall was there. Maybe moving him out to bring in Manning and whomever he wants as a free agent WR?
This.Seems more likely that Tannehill ends up in Miami than Manning.
because Regis Philbin knows he isnt any good.http://www.nfl.com/freeagency/story/09000d5d82791ae2/article/flynn-dolphins-go-in-separate-directions-as-free-agency-beginsJust announced minutes ago on 98.5 Sports Hub, Boston.Where are you seeing that? That is a troubling sign in regards to Flynn.Unless, he wanted an absolute ####ton of money.http://www.nfl.com/freeagency/story/09000d5d82791ae2/article/flynn-dolphins-go-in-separate-directions-as-free-agency-beginsJust announced minutes ago on 98.5 Sports Hub, Boston.
I agree, I thought with the Philbin connection, this would be done.Which also leads me to the Peyton option.Where does Flynn end up ?Cleveland, Seattle ?That is a troubling sign in regards to Flynn.Unless, he wanted an absolute ####ton of money.http://www.nfl.com/freeagency/story/09000d5d82791ae2/article/flynn-dolphins-go-in-separate-directions-as-free-agency-beginsJust announced minutes ago on 98.5 Sports Hub, Boston.
Would they sign Peyton, trade Moore and draft Tannehill and let him learn under Peyton since rookie contracts aren't as lucrative as they once were? Or is it now officially a no-no to draft a QB in the top half of the first round and let him marinate under the tutelage of a surefire HOF for a few seasons? This.Seems more likely that Tannehill ends up in Miami than Manning.

Cleveland who's upset they lost out on RG3.I agree, I thought with the Philbin connection, this would be done.Which also leads me to the Peyton option.Where does Flynn end up ?Cleveland, Seattle ?That is a troubling sign in regards to Flynn.Unless, he wanted an absolute ####ton of money.http://www.nfl.com/freeagency/story/09000d5d82791ae2/article/flynn-dolphins-go-in-separate-directions-as-free-agency-beginsJust announced minutes ago on 98.5 Sports Hub, Boston.
Hey Man in the Box, time to start thinking outside the box then.As a Dolphin fan, I'm more confused right now than ever, and that's saying something.
Most people want to live out their final days in FL,

Maybe I need to reread it. Title seems to say something the article does not.http://www.nfl.com/freeagency/story/09000d5d82791ae2/article/flynn-dolphins-go-in-separate-directions-as-free-agency-beginsJust announced minutes ago on 98.5 Sports Hub, Boston.Where are you seeing that? Think it was a joke. Most people want to live out their final days in FL,Manning 35Saturday 36Wayne 33Clark 32Addai 28I don't think these people are remotely considering their "final days". Though Wayne may be considering his "earlier days" as a product of Miami U.
Why not bring in Wayne, Garcon, and Clark? Get the gang back together. They will essentially have the old Colts offense with a better o-line and better defense than it would have had in Indy. For those Manning theorists, I'd be more inclined moving Marshall means bringing in-prime Garcon.
That's bullspit because Miami went out and hired the OC from the team he was on, brought in more pieces from Green Bay, in fact everything they have been doing revolves around a copycat of GB in many ways so I would be shocked if they announced they had no intentions of signing him...he won't have the same parade if he does sign in Miami but I imagine Flynn is very interested in the Phins. Miami was out of the running Monday Morning and was meeting with Manning by Monday afternoon for 6 hours...you just cannot believe folks even the Schefters of the World don't have this totally nailed yet.Just announced minutes ago on 98.5 Sports Hub, Boston.Where are you seeing that? Yeah, I just did a quick google search trying to find where Miami said they are out of the Flynn sweepstakes. News is flying fast, I'm just trying to keep up.Maybe I need to reread it. I like the cut of your jib. Are they really out of the running for Flynn? Can't find anything on it.Hey Man in the Box, time to start thinking outside the box then.As a Dolphin fan, I'm more confused right now than ever, and that's saying something.
Me too. I had read the title and linked it elsewhere. Then read the story and started wondering how they got that title based on what was in the article.Yeah, I just did a quick google search trying to find where Miami said they are out of the Flynn sweepstakes. This has to be what they're doing. Moore and Fasano go to backup roles or are traded away. Pouncey moves to G. Thomas and Bush play the Addai/Rhodes roles and they sign Manning, Wayne, Garcon, and Dallas Clark with the 25-30 million in cap space they now have. Why not bring in Wayne, Garcon, and Clark? Get the gang back together. They will essentially have the old Colts offense with a better o-line and better defense than it would have had in Indy. For those Manning theorists, I'd be more inclined moving Marshall means bringing in-prime Garcon.
