Peyton Manning, Jim Irsay- SHUT UP! (1 Viewer)

I am completely sick and tired of these two monkeys. SHUT UP! For the respect of the players actually playing in the game, SHUT UP! You two can ##### and moan about Mannings contract or how healthy Manning is after the Super Bowl. You two aren't in the game. I thought both of these men were mature enough to leave the rhetoric at the door and that this week is about the players playing in the game and additionally, that no more comments about Peyton's situation would be spoken about until after the game. I've heard more about Peyton than I have about Eli. Than I have about Brady. Than I have about Gronkowski's injury. I've never, ever, ever seen anything like this fiasco before in all my days. STOP IT! You two are acting like babies. ENOUGH ALREADY!

Well, you aren't looking in the right places then, cause I've heard more about Gronkowski's injury over the past week than I have about my son who's due to be born on Sunday.

I'm from Indy and a huge Colts can. While I think that moving on from Peyton is the right thing to do for the team right now, how Irsay is handling it is completely wrong. Don't counter Manning by saying that he should "keep things in the house," and then turn around and start spouting off from Twitter everyday. I hate that this is all going on and taking away from the great job this city has done to create a great Super Bowl week. Not to mention the fantastic weather that is going on too!

He is ridiculous with the Twitter thing...not only does he use it all the time, he is like the guy at work who "YELLS" in emails or just comes across as curt (whether or not trying to do so). He is starting to remind me of Dan Gilbert (owner of the Cavs). I don't mind an owner that speaks his mind (ala Cuban), I just can't stand when these guys get in petty battles with their own people in the media...you are a leader and supposed to be better than that.

:goodposting:It funny how Irsay called Peyton a politician and then he says this:"This isn't about the money," Irsay said. "If it helps us win, I'll pay it in a second. But when it comes to salary cap … we have real cap problems. You can't make a decision that straps you for the next three seasons."So this is definitely about the money.

I agree with the sentiment present in the OP, even if it reads like an immature tantrum.

Which is fitting and kind of ironic, for a thread centered around Irsay the twitter fiend.

It's obviously about both winning and money. It's always about both.

Agree x1000.

I don't want to hear the spin from Manning's camp. It's dumb. He should just shut his mouth, play his hand by refusing to move his bonus back and forcing the team to cut him rather than hang onto him and trade him, and go finish out his career on a team that won't suck nearly as bad as the Colts will over the next few years.

But Irsay is even worse. Dude, you're the owner of an NFL franchise worth hundreds and hundreds of millions of dollars. You're the ones that screwed up your team. You're the ones that are planning on getting rid of Peyton Manning. Stop acting like a spurned junior high school girl. Grow up.

Maybe after Irsay cuts Manning, he'll sign Favre to tutor young, Luck... I miss Brett sticking his nose into things this time of year!
