A team in my league just dropped Matt Lienart and Peyton Manning from their roster. I'll probably be getting an email soon saying OOPS! What do you do in a case like this? Of course I'll allow them to re-add him if they notice, but what if they don't notice until after the WW opens up at midnight? Is the commissioner responsible for babysitting and second-guessing what must be a mistake?

In obvious cases like this, I'd say yes. Is there any way to setup a "can not drop" list in your league?

Can't you contact the owner in this case to make sure that is what he intended to do?

It's pretty clear this was a mistake (or a malicious attempt to screw with your league). In either case, you should have grounds to intervene.

Worst decision would be to play this passive and let Manning get scooped up by someone else. Your league would be reduced to a farce, if you did.

If you let it get to waivers the guy with the #1 WW pick is going to be pissed when you have to do it after the fact. Then the whole waiver process will be screwed since he'll miss the first pick. With SJax going down the #1 pick this week is

I would reverse this unless the owner in question confirms to you he is indeed silly enough to cut Manning. If he intended to do this, then you have an interesting situation on your hands.

Put Manning back on their roster. I would never allow a team to drop a player like that. If not it will ruin the integrety of the league
