Phins QB Matt Moore (1 Viewer)

Scrappy Doo

Footballguy
With all the QB injuries and byes, I can't be the only one starting this guy in week 11, right? :bag:

He's at home vs. a Bills D that just got lit up by Romo.

He has a sometimes-elite WR1.

He has a decent TE and some nice slot receivers.

He has two RBs who both catch well.

His OL is finally playing a little better.

His team is finally showing some signs of life.

So what's not to like?

If yesterday sucks, call me Mary and throw some lipstick on me. We have a short week this week and Miami and Miami is at Dallas. Grossman, with a crap factory at the WR position, went for 25/38, 2/1 and rushed for a TD. Now I equate Moore to Grossman in talent; neither can sustain, but both are capable of winning, and I see no reason as to why Moore (on his current streak) cannot match those numbers. In fact, I own Romo in one league and am thinking about picking up Moore and starting him against Dallas, as Romo gets his numbers, but may struggle against this resurging Miami team. I think he is a nifty pickup going into this week for a plug-and-play option.

I wouldn't overthink it. Miami is resurging, but they have beaten KC, Washington and Buffalo, all teams that appear to be hitting the skids pretty good. Grossman has always had solid games here and there, but KC since beating up Oakland has gone 1-2 and is only not 0-3 because of Philip Rivers botched snap, Buffalo is 2-4 in the last six only beating Washington and a struggling Philly team (by 7 even with 5 Eagles turnovers) and Washington is 0 for the last 6.While Matt Moore could possibly outscore Romo, I would never bench Romo right now for Moore. Romo is playing lights out (and has a great cast to throw to) and has only been limited fantasy wise recently because they have gone up early every time. As a Romo owner in 2 of 3 leagues, I hope Matt Moore plays lights out as well turning this into a high scoring affair.
