Percenters

Originally annoying when applied to the 99 percenters or one percenters, I've heard it being used in other contexts now. Quit it.

low hanging fruit

(I don't care if it's already been mentioned, I still hear it way too often.)

"On the floor" - as in "I have no idea what's going on on the floor". Usually uttered by our self important solution architect. You aren't on 24 looking down at the peons you duush, you have a cube too, stop acting like you're more important than us!

What is this referring to? A manufacturing area? This is commonly referred to as a "shop floor", or "floor".

I'm not looking back through 30 pages to see if this one has already gone but I hate "haters." What's wrong with being critical of something/someone? Every last one of you in here deserves to be criticized. By me. Often.

I hate reading a blog or something and about two paragraphs in I get told there is more "after the jump".
Why would someone write this in an electronic medium?
I dunno but I see it a lot.http://www.jacketscannon.com/

Check after the jump for updates on the ten Columbus prospects playing in the NCAA.

As always, video after the jump followed by some game notes. Enjoy!

I got mad. Video after the jump followed by some game notes. Enjoy!

March on. Video after the jump followed by some game notes. Enjoy!

The grades follow the jump...

Biggest problem is "haters" usually doesn't mean anything as strong as "hate". So people start getting confused that they really mean hate.ex. Tebow "haters".

The problem is human nature. When people like something, they tend not to comment. When they hate something, they tend to comment. That's what's wrong with being critical of something/someone. I remember listening to Cleveland sports talk radio in the 1990s, when the Indians would run away with the AL Central every year. When the team would win 10 in a row, you'd tune into the postgame show and the phone lines were absolutely dead. If that 10-game win streak was snapped, if they lost ONE game, oh BOY the phone lines would be jammed with haters. Bench this player, cut that player, fire Hargrove. Get rid of John Hart. Jacobs' sucks. It got to the point where it was comical. That experience I think helped shape by opinion of criticism and personal attacks. Its easy to do. What's hard to do is show appreciation. What's hard to do is add content yourself, or come up with new ideas.

I'm sure it's been mentioned a few times, but I heard the word "vet" - as in "vetted" or "vetting it out" - for the first time this year, and I'm sick of it now.
Agree..and please stop using the word sick to describe a play or a move.
My vote is to bring back "bee's knees".
Been working on this for years.
Me (to HR girl): You're the bee's knees!HR Girl:  Me: It's a phrase from the '30's or something. Ask Judy.Judy (50-something admin): :hot: and :reported:

I'm sure it's been said but white people stop saying "That's how I roll."

Thanks.

You gotta sell it, GB.

exactly right

What other kind of right is there? Half right, kinda right, etc., sure those qualifiers are out there (though they're kinda not right if you think about it). But exactly right? Is there then an inexactly right?

No good.
