Phrases/terms that need to be retired immediately (3 Viewers)

The "-said no one ever" and "hold my beer" joke formats. Put them out of their misery.
Yes.  I was actually thinking about the former a couple days ago.  So dumb.  And the "hold my beer" thing is lame too.

If you ever want to see the lamest of the lame in terms of these kinds of "jokes", try subjecting yourself to any ESPN comment thread on Facebook.  It is quite simply the dumbest of the dumb.  I could probably list 6-7 "ESPN/Facebook phrases that should be retired immediately".  You know, any talk about the 96 Bulls, Golden State blowing a 3-1 lead, anything about LaVar Ball.  It is the most played out crap imaginable.

Parents of teenage boys do your kids say "brah" all the time?  Gave my son and a couple of his friends a ride home from their lacrosse game the other night and must have hear that word 50 times.

"Zach that was such a sick pass brah".  "Brah did you see that shot?"  "Brah those refs were terrible!" The whole way home.

Natch.  They also, instead of saying "wassup" or "sup" say "saw dee"

I've called my sons brah on occasion.

Teenage girls in my house. They use the term "brah" is to describe certain types of boys, which is usually followed by an eye-roll.

"Hold my beer" was dumb the first time I saw it. Its pretty much cringe-worthy now.

Bullish on "Zero ####s Given". Still usually makes me  :lmao:

brah ...brah.
A bro, brah is typically only used for white guys, but it's a stereotypical frat type. Perhaps they are dumb, but that's not necessarily the defining factor. They are shallow, like to party, superficial, etc. Regular and boring af. The male equivalent of a basic b!tch. F*ckboi has more variety for different people, but I see it as a similar thing, but f*ckboi is definitey worse.  A self absorbed a$$hole, real predictable, about nothing type.

Makes sense.  I was thinking more of 13-15 yrs old teen girls perspective (have one turning 13 in 3 weeks) and wasn't thinking anything about f*ing from their perspective.

I have a couple of guns and am not afraid to use them.

f!ckboy doesn't necessarily mean they are sleeping with the guy. It;s just a real obvious, cookie cutter #######. If a 13-15 year old girl is calling someone a brah/bro, they are likely using sarcastically to mock guys they go to school with and/or as a way to describe these type of school mates

Maybe best way to differentiate them is that Justin Bieber is a f*ckboy, Gronk is a bro bra brah.

My imaginary grandson, Thander, says "deek, cha!" a lot
3 years old and already about that deek life?

add to the retired phrases: "about that" and "______ life" and especially when they are combined. Hopefully someone posted these awhile ago because it's been old for a long time.
