You think that's bad? We had "snow" today in Houston. People lost their excrement.People telling me to "stay warm" now that it's cold outside.....
I know, right.People saying "RIGHT?" in response to every sentence. Also: "I know, RIGHT?"
Down vote.getting dusty, getting dusty in here- needs to be put to pasture IMO.
no kidding, im was going to go out without a coat today, but thanks for the tip.People telling me to "stay warm" now that it's cold outside.....
It was in the lower 40s this weekend and I saw lots of folks in tees and gym shorts at the grocery store. So never underestimate the ignorance of the common folk. I mean, you can't actually expect them to turn on the news or anything...no kidding, im was going to go out without a coat today, but thanks for the tip.
Never been to Nashville, huh. When it's snowy and people say "drive safe." No....I think I'm going to drive like a maniac, thank you.
Agreed...everything now is "taking it to the next level" talk about overplayed."Next level"
Yeah.... and I'm even hearing it without the need for "taking it to". Just "next level". Like "next level stats".supermike80 said:Agreed...everything now is "taking it to the next level" talk about overplayed.
Never forget! You think that's bad? We had "snow" today in Houston. People lost their excrement.
"We were a city of a million people and 500,000 snowmen."
That's what Ed Raedemarkers, managing editor of the defunct San Antonio Light, wrote more than 30 years when the Alamo City saw a record amount of snow.
They’re just wishing you well man. Relax. When it's snowy and people say "drive safe." No....I think I'm going to drive like a maniac, thank you.
It drives me nuts, too. What the heck do they think the alternative is? Death Race 2000?They’re just wishing you well man. Relax. When it's snowy and people say "drive safe." No....I think I'm going to drive like a maniac, thank you.
How about if used sarcastically.? I like to quote the tatoo artist from the commercial (I can't think of what they are selling at the moment).Stay In Your Lane
my 8 year old told my wife to stay in her lane and we all had a good laughStay In Your Lane
PRO TIP: There's no hyphen in between those two words.pro-tip.
You're misinterpreting the meaning. They are wishing you a safe trip home, not implying that you're a maniac driver that needs to be told to operate your vehicle safely. It drives me nuts, too. What the heck do they think the alternative is? Death Race 2000?
Protip - the space isn't necessary either.PRO TIP: There's no hyphen in between those two words.
One of the better ads on tv.How about if used sarcastically.? I like to quote the tatoo artist from the commercial (I can't think of what they are selling at the moment).
Completely acceptable when used to reference the new football league:
Unless pro-tip is a more technologically advanced form of Q-tip.PRO TIP: There's no hyphen in between those two words.pro-tip.
Then maybe they should just say that. You're misinterpreting the meaning. They are wishing you a safe trip home, not implying that you're a maniac driver that needs to be told to operate your vehicle safely.
They are. "Drive safe" is just a shortened version of "Drive safely." How could that be construed as anything other than wishing you a safe trip home? Seems like a truly odd thing to be bothered by.Then maybe they should just say that.
Then I say I am not driving a Brinks truck. The phrase is "Drive safely".When it's snowy and people say "drive safe." No....I think I'm going to drive like a maniac, thank you.
The thing about a Brinks truck. I'm not surprised that they don't get hijacked more often. I just wonder how hard it is to screen out drivers who would ditch the truck and take off with the loot. Then I say I am not driving a Brinks truck. The phrase is "Drive safely".
Was just coming in here to post that exact phrase. When did clap back move away from a response with a gun to becoming something celebrities do when they put each other down?Clap Back
