Phrases/terms that need to be retired immediately (1 Viewer)

no kidding, im was going to go out without a coat today, but thanks for the tip.
It was in the lower 40s this weekend and I saw lots of folks in tees and gym shorts at the grocery store. So never underestimate the ignorance of the common folk. I mean, you can't actually expect them to turn on the news or anything...

Agreed...everything now is "taking it to the next level"  talk about overplayed.
Yeah.... and I'm even hearing it without the need for "taking it to".  Just "next level".  Like "next level stats".

Man, James Harden is putting up next level stats.

:loco:

THIS is pretty awesome.

"We were a city of a million people and 500,000 snowmen."

That's what Ed Raedemarkers, managing editor of the defunct San Antonio Light, wrote more than 30 years when the Alamo City saw a record amount of snow.

Then I say I am not driving a Brinks truck.  The  phrase is "Drive safely".
The thing about a Brinks truck. I'm not surprised that they don't get hijacked more often. I just wonder how hard it is to screen out drivers who would ditch the truck and take off with the loot.

Clap Back
Was just coming in here to post that exact phrase. When did clap back move away from a response with a gun to becoming something celebrities do when they put each other down?

The Roots: We went to Millersville to get away from guns clapping

Us Magazine: DID YOU HEAR LADY GAGA CLAP BACK AT BRADLEY COOPER'S EX?????

eta* The term "clap back" was dead in 2004, when Ja Rule tried to use it to threaten 50 Cent. Ja Rule sucks. That's all you need to know about clapping back.
