Portis @ Dallas

J Lewis at home against OAK

D Foster @ MIN (their defense did not look bad)

M Bell at home against KC (RBBC, but KC's D looked horrible last week.)

This is not a WSIS, just a topic for discussion about commonly owned backs.

Foster's O Line looked horrible last week and they have lost their starting RT for the season. Delhomme can't get anyhting going with his other receivers in the absence of Smith, and the D could key on Foster by loading up the box and forcing Delhomme to look to guy like Colbert and Keyshwan.

J Lewis had a big game last week, but I'm always weary of a guy that only scored 3 TDs last year. Oakland is absolutely horrible, though.

Portis will be keyed up for the game against Dallas. Close loss at home to open the season followed by a HUGE divisional rivalry=players selling out. Dallas let Fragile Fred have a pretty good week fantasy-wise last week. Portis's shoulder didn't seem to hamper his play too much in the carries he got. I also don't buy in to any of the "goal-line is for Duckett" claims. why did they have a franchise RB with an injured shoulder in on all of their goalline carries against MIN?

M Bell will be splitting time, but he will be at home against a defense that got burned for days last week. I expect the KC Defense to be tired as Huard probably won't keep the O on the field for too long. As long as DEN has two RBS with fresh legs, they should have a field day running the ball against the chiefs.

If I had to start 3 of those 4, I think I would sit D Foster for the reasons mentioned above.

My line up would be

Portis

Lewis

Bell

thoughts?

I'm glad we have so many WSIS police around. It makes me feel safe...

Anyway, I think Lewis is a no brainer (Unless you have Tiki/SJax ahead of him  )

Portis looked real sharp last week, and I would have to think his PT will go up this week.

Foster should bounce back. He's very talented on a good team. As long as he's healthy he's a good start.

I own Mike Bell in a couple leagues, and wouldn't consider starting him. He's knicked up with the finger, and he's a couple nice, early TBell runs away from very little PT. He's staying on my bench until something changes and he becomes "1a"

My two cents...

KC went against the best Oline in the NFL and they looked pretty good against the run.

Rudi's run breakdown.

0 yards - 6

1 yard - 6

2 yards - 2

3 yards - 7

4 yards - 2

5 yards - 2

And a 9, 16 and 22 yarder.

I disagree.

I think this is a very poorly disguised WDIS thread. And it isn't all that interesting either.
