Went with all the favorites (Jets in East). Even with these odds, the frontrunners are too far ahead to go with anyone else.

AFC is a lot more interesting than the NFC with the odds. Indy was the only favorite I went with (and -200 actually seems like a bargain).

The Raiders at +600 seems like a good deal to me. Definitely worth a shot anyhow.

My Who-Deys at +300 is a buy as well, especially as they did win the division last year and were 6-0 in division games.

The Dolphins are also a strong play I think. They aren't that far behind the other 2 and those are good odds.

Indy -200 [ 36 ] [62.07%]

Houston +300 [ 17 ] [29.31%]

Tennessee +450 [ 4 ] [6.90%]

Jacksonville +1200 [ 1 ] [1.72%]

I don't really understand all the J-Ville hate. Put 9 units on them to win 1000 if they win the SB. This team isn't THAT MUCH different than the one that was everyones sleeper to win the SB two years ago. As far as longshots go they are probably my favorite in the NFL right now. I will admit it's a tough division however.

Pats

Steelers

Clots

Raiders
WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm a pessimist. The Raiders should be pretty solid this year. Gotta take the +600.
Right after the draft/trade, maybe when DHB had some positive buzz I think you could at least make the argument. After the rash of injuries and DHB regression to his mean I think that argument is much less compelling now however.
Injuries are a problem, sure, none of them seem catastrophic - DHB never entered into my thinking one way or another on the Raiders' prospects this year. I'm pretty sure the Raiders would have been .500 were it not for Russel last year. Now he's gone and they've improved in other areas as well. The Chargers have 3 things over the Raiders right now - Rivers, Gates and Matthews. The Raiders will have a much better D than the Chargers, probably a better offensive line than the Chargers, which I think offsets most of the advantages the Chargers have. Rivers probably puts the Chargers over the top, but not by as much overall as most people think. It wouldn't surprise me at all to see the Raiders win the division.

Before anymore retroactive votes :blackdot:
