Pick the two big games on Thanksgiving... (1 Viewer)

Raider Nation

Devil's Advocate
Let's assume that only Cowboys fans care about the middle game. It's turkey time when that game is on... :)

============

G.B. -6

DET. 56

S.F. 38½

BAL. -3

The over in the Packers/Lions game would seem to be the obvious play, so of course it will probably end up 17-14.

In the Harbaugh Bowl, the Niners are getting more respect than I anticipated. I thought the Ravens would be favored by 4 or 4½. If San Francisco were hosting this game, I could see the total being that low. But the Ravens tend to put points on the board at home. I like the over 38½ in that game quite a bit.

dish up and watch some football. dont tell me you gotta turn the game off while you're eating. hell, i eat all day on the couch!I'll take GB -6 and maybe the over. Lots of points in this one.

DAL -7

MIA

didnt look at the total, but I'll take the 'Boys at -7 on Turkey Day. just a hunch that Romo and the offense is gonna strike early and often, and M.Moore is gonna be running for his life.

I'll take Ravens -3 and the under. good defenses, and a very meaningful game. O's might be tight for a while. And the niner's O aint scarin anyone.

Gobble Gobble!

I like Miami on the road at +7. They play very well on the road.

Packers -6

Miami +7

Niners +3

In the Balt/SF game, if the Niners win and Seattle loses on Sunday, the Niners clinch the division.

Also

Packers/Lions UNDER 56 (It's going to be close though like 38-17 Pack)

Miami/Dallas OVER 44.5

Baltimore/SF OVER 38.5

Det and the Over: GB gives up points and so does DET. GB Wins but does not cover.

Dall and the Over:

Balt and the under:

No coincidence I think home teams are the play on a short week. The disadvantage the road team has is having to travel is often overlooked IMHO. Particularly SF flying across the country to play on Thur. Evening. The schedulemakers did them no favors.

One team I don't bet on is Dallas, especially while they are winning. My buddy is a big fan and over the past three weeks he's lost 300$ to me on my Eagles straight up, Sea +13, and Wsh +8.5.. just saying

Cowboys to cover and I'll take the overPackers to cover and I'll take the underNiners to cover and I'll take the over

Packers over, lot of points in this game, but Pack halt a couple of drives to cover.

Miami over, MIA is playing out of their mind right now, lose but keep it close, hell maybe OT.

Niners over, Ray Lewis might be out, Niners play well (4-0) on the road in the east, Gore gets it going

Overs for everyone! need to keep us awake after food coma kicks in
