Picks 2:12 & 3:1 = RB2 & WR1 (1 Viewer)

My current team (PPR)BradyTomlinsonMcAllisterW. DunnL. ColesC. ChambersJ. GallowayG. JenningsA. Gates
I think this team is going to struggle in a PPR.- Tomlinson has seen declining receptions the last two years (still pretty high, though).- McAllister doesn't catch many at all.- Coles is going to have catches taken by Cotchery.- Chambers seemingly drops more than he catches.- Was last year's dips in #'s for Gates an aberration, or a the start of a trend with Rivers vs. Brees?Sorry. That's how I see it. :lmao: :ducksforcover:
Just FYI - this team has the best record in the league and leads the overall point standings by ~100 pts. GB Brady/Gates at the 2/3 turn.
Other than Brady and Gates, what are you getting out of the other positions? Who knew that Brady would be so dominant that he could be a fantasy team all his own?
I'd be lying if I said I foresaw this, but I thought he would be QB2 this year by a decent margin and am thrilled to have gotten him in round 3.I'm getting very strong production out my receiving corps - Chambers, Galloway, Jennings, Mason, and Coles are all averaging 12 ppg or more - I'm getting about 37% of my weekly scoring from my WRs, which is saying a lot with Brady at QB, Tomlinson at RB, and Gates at TE. RB2 is a weak spot, though, as McAllister went down early, so I've been starting Warrick Dunn. I'm strong enough everywhere else to mask that deficiency, though, which is what I was hoping for.
In that case, I'll eat some crow and say...I was wrong. I've had to say that quite a bit this year. I haven't been right about much!

That's cool, but that wasn't why I bumped this, I wanted to illustrate that sometimes thinking outside the box works. I rarely adhere to a draft strategy or feel like I NEED to come away with x amount of RBs, what have you, after any given round. In the spirit of the original question, sometimes it's better to take top players at other positions when you have an early pick, rather than grabbing RB16/WR6 automatically.
