Stephen Gostkowski (PK NE) has not made more than two FG's in any game this season but is predicted by a couple of FF sites to have his best day yet as a pro in Green Bay.

I know it is just a kicking question, but still curious as to how a kicker near the bottom of the league in scoring all year is predicted to outscore most PKers this week (and in one ranking I saw be #1!!) ....in GB?? is it the cheese?

Predicting field goals is like predicting the weather. It is just a guess (apparently). Maybe they think based on the odds that he is due for more than one. I dunno.

They are honoring former Packer QB Zeke Bratkowski before the game and assume that Polish pride will infuse Gostkowski with the kicking acumen to make several more FG's then he ever has before.

He will because I was bounced from the FBG Contest in Week 10 and had Gostkowski wasting a roster spot all season.
As a patsfan he irritates me. BB doesn't have confidence in him. I expected an obvious drop from Adam but this is absurd. They go for it on fourth more than any other team. I'd guess 15 times. At least 8 if not more should be FGs.

When Adam was there if a drive stalled and they were close enough he was automatic. Now I wonder if they'll even bother kicking or just go for it or punt from what I feel is a bit close to punt. I don't want those choices! I'd rather they signed some vet and those questions were gone again. Put him on the practice squad til then.
