Player Spotlight: Le'Veon Bell, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers (1 Viewer)

This guy reminds me of Steven Jackson. He runs a little too upright. That can be coached up. The Steelers are moving to a zone blocking scheme and plan on returning to the Smash mouth brand of football they are known for. They were one of the worst running teams in the 4th quarter last year. Expect a focus on the run this season.

Bell gets 1200+ on the ground and at least 200 in the air. They are going to run the snot out this guy with no real #1 WR. Expect a dozen TD's.
Steven Jackson? lol funny. Jackson was stupid fast coming out. Bell is not. Maybe he reminds you of an old Steven Jackson...Maybe SJax WAS faster coming out of college but he couldn't have been a whole lot faster. SJax ran a 4.55 on his pro day. Bell has been clocked at 4.56. They were both pretty much the same size and style of running.. Who cares if SJax was one or two 1/100ths of a second faster running in a straight line? Thanks for your informative response though. Your forecast for nothing is spot on. Please consider changing your name to something more appropriate like "den mother." Or "hall monitor." Click on the link to hear Buck Brooks make the exact same comparison as I have http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-pro-comparison/0ap2000000154756/Le-Veon-Bell-pro-comparison. Now you can go back to your un-informed useless posting.
Bucky Brooks? Who is he?Steven Jackson could run away from people at the nfl level. Bell will not.

I'll take a bet the your boy doesn't net 1000 total yards, since you and Bucky are so smart.

This will be RBBC city.
You don't know who Bucky is? Have you ever been to a little site called NFL.com??? Maybe you have watched NFL network??? Not saying he is the end all be all analyst but surely his opinion that Bell compares to SJAX is more valid than your lame 2 cents statement.

Wow. Of course I know who he is. He played WR for my alma mater. Just saying his analysis means about as much to me as Frank Caliendo's. Just be sure you guys are back when Bell dramatically undershoots your projections.

Will you be back when he overshoots your projections?

He also Tweeted that Bell was head and shoulders above the other RB's so far. https://twitter.com/EdBouchette/status/363750665811542017

Steelers RB LeVeon Bell sat out on Saturday with a knee bruise.
Fantasy Impact:The injury isn't considered serious, but this is still a minor setback for Bell, who seemed well on his way to winning the Pittsburgh RB1 job.

Jackson never ran away from people. Not even in college. As a Rams fan I always was disappointed in his speed.

Has he looked good in pass protection so far? Trying to temper my expectations here, but I get the feeling Bell is the clear top choice rookie for keeper leagues.

I took him 1.01 in a recent rookie draft

It's kind of RB heavy with two flex, and only two required starting WR ... 2/2/1/2

If it was 2/3/1/1 I'd probably go Tavon since the deeper WRs the more value he has, but it's still close.

I am in a keep 4 type of league that is very heavy RB so it will either be a rookie or a risky guy like Jackson or Murray. I think it is more of a toss-up in dynasty leagues where a guy like Bernard or Patterson could be stashed long enough for their talent to win out.

Hard to see him not hovering around 250 carries this year.
