This stems from the Radway situation in Dallas. The kid was in line to make the 53-man roster for the Cowboys @ WR when, with 3 seconds to go in the game, got hit in the leg and broke both his tibia and fibula.

So, the Cowboys are placing him on IR and if he comes back healthy next year, will have a chance to make the team.

But how does this affect him and his pay. Does he make the league minimum? No pay at all?

Anyone know how that works?

He will make whatever his contract calls for. Should be full base pay. Obviously, can't make any incentive bonuses.
