How about former 1st round WR Sly Morris. I've also owned his Chief teammate Snoop Minnis before. To answer some of the whereabouts:Michael Westbrook - currently a mma (mixed martial arts) fighter. Scored a win in his first fight against another former NFL player, Jarrod Bunch (FB for the Giants, Michigan)Quadry Ismail - does NFL analysis for ESPNews

Ben Gay???
O...M...G!I remember spitting Diet Mountain Dew all over my brand new flat panel display when I read the following statement someone made during the Cleveland Browns training camp on these boards a few years back:

"Ever Ben Gay with Jackson's White Johnson?"

(At the time, the Brown's training camp roster had included RB's Benjamin Gay, James Jackson, Jamel White and J.J. Johnson)

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Andy Katzenmoyer
suffered a pretty serious Neck injury. Some sort of pinched nerve. He was never able to come back. I remember him crying as he made the announcement he had to retire. A shame. He had to retire right before NE became a dynasty. He would have made a great team player. Much like his OSU / NE team mate Vrab. Vrable was a D-Linemen at OSU when Katzenmoyer was laying waste to the Big 10.AJ Hawk, and Carpenter appear to be even better LBs than Katzenmoyer. Once Katzenmoyer became the focus on D he seemed to have trouble shucking the blocks and making the tackle.

Pete Metzelaars - Is now working for the Colts organization in some form of public relations. He was working as a high school football coach (asst. coach I think) for a private school here in Charlotte. He then left and moved to Indianapolis when offered the position from Bill Polian - formerly with the Bills, hence the hook-up.

Two words......

**** Vermeil

Those of us here in KC I think still dont get why DV hated him, but when DV took over, Grbac hasd walked in FA to BALT, DV traded our 1st rounder for Trent Green, and that season will forever be known for these famous KC WRs....

Derrick Mayes

Tony Horne

Chris Thomas

Larry Parker

Nice group, eh? We could have REALLY used DA as we went 6-10 in the worst season we have had in almost 20 years. But I am sure DV had his reasons.

I looked at pro-football refernce and DA did play but it was sparingly....we signed Kennison.....and our 3rd round pick was Snoop Minnis (theres a name for ya!) so there was a stable, but most it was poo-poo.
is that really much worse than the group they have there now or even last yearKennison

Boerigter

Larry Parker

Samie Parker (2005-....)

Throw in the fact that TG is a tad older, and I'd say it's almost a wash

i "remembered" name chris, but not last name... definitely not him, pretty sure before... this guys may have been goal line specialist... i remember thinking that unusual because most starting RBs don't get close to 15 TDs, let alone goal line specialists... he really had charmed year where BUNCH of plays ended up on the 1-2 yard line... & this guy was MONEY from in close... at least that year he was...  seems like moe williams got close to DD TDs few seasons ago... maybe that was done more in past?

* SEA homer shick! would no doubt know this.
Could it have been Derrick Fenner? 14 rushing TDs in 1990.He fits all the criteria perfectly, except for the one about being named Chris.
thats the guy... i was clumsily trying to say i was already aware of warren (just forgot his last name) & knew it wasn't him.

Patrick Jeffers..I thought of him the other day. He was deadly during the second half of the 98 season and I thought he would be a stud. He got injured either in the last game of the season or early the next and dissapeared.
Jeffers went to my high school. His mother is the head of volunteers at a Hospital in Fort Worth and my mom works with her on a near daily basis at the hospital. There is a particular event in Fort Worth he'll show up to on a regular basis coming up in two weeks . I'll try to get the story then. I've asked my mom to give the Mrs. Jeffers a quiz, but she's too shy.

Dan HamptonThe Mighty Karl Mecklenberg sp?OJ Anderson
Didn't these guys all have pretty good careers? Meck was awesome for Denver, and OJ was on the 91 SB team in NY, IIRC. Hampton was around for about 10 years, which is a solid NFL career.

Tony MartinTerry AllenAnthony JohnsonO.J. SantiagoOh, and what was the name of that player who died in that plane crash in the swamp? I think it was a Jet Blue crash. It wasn't Tommy Vardell, was it?

In the 13th round of our initial dynasty draft, one of our teams selected:TAMMARICK VANNOVERWhatever happened to him?

Re: Vanover.......I knew he got into trouble, but was hazy on the particulars.......here is what I foundSeven people, including Gregory Burns, Vanover's "personal assistant," were charged in connection with a nationwide car theft ring. A federal indictment in March 2000 said the seven stole up to 50 luxury vehicles, particularly BMWs and Lexuses, from North Carolina. The cars were then retitled in Missouri and sold across the country, according to the indictment. "It's the largest auto vehicle theft case the FBI has been involved in, in this area, in at least a dozen years, in terms of the numbers of vehicles and people involved," Kansas City FBI spokesman Jeff Lanza said. Vanover was linked directly to the ring by the feds when he fenced a stolen SUV for $10,000. The federal charge was assisting in the sale of a stolen 1999 Ford Expedition from a Kansas City dealership and its sale in Tallahassee, Florida. Vanover agreed to cooperate with the Feds in "ongoing matters," which included the investigation of his former "personal assistant" Gregory Burns, who was indicted with three other posse members for distributing cocaine in the Kansas City area. Tamarick ratted out his posse, and his testimony helped put them in prison. That was the end for him in KC.

Greg Hill, another KC goodie.......he was actually part of a priest/LJ duo with Marcus Allen in the mid-90s, but he wore out his welcome iwth Marty when he never grabbed the job from Marcus and wound up for the 1998 Rams (with Vermeil) and ended in 1999 as a Lion.As a #1 pick he goes down in KC history as a top-10 bust, along with Trezelle Jenkins, Todd Blackledge, Paul Palmer, Percy Snow, Sly Morris, and others.Man we SUCK at drafting........KC should trade every #1 pick they have.....that has worked out better (Montana, Green)

David Klingler

Andre Ware

Heath Schuler

Quentin Coryatt

Cleveland Gary

Lars Tate
I believe Heath Shuler sells real estate or insurance or something now. Pretty successful too. I remember seeing it on OTL.
Been in the Washington DC papers lately that Heath is planning to run for a senate seat...hopefully his second stint in DC goes better than the first! :yucky:

IIRC, didnt Paul "Boo-Boo" Palmer once intentionally fumble the ball to protest his lack of playing time? :lmao:

Brian Jozwiak was a real winner for us too ...

Bam Morris

Fred Lane

Napoleon Kaufman

Tyrone Wheatley

Boo Williams

Sly morris

Donald Hayes

Willy Green (yes, I know where he is but he hasn't done a thing)

Cam CleelandJay Riermersma
Isn't Cleland back in the league? STL?
Riermersma blew out his his achilles and is coaching his old high school team near Grand Rapids, Mi. He is hoping for a comeback next year.

Whatever happened to him?
I believe he's rotting in jail after being a part of a massive drug ring for cocaine or weed or something like that.

Only a handful of NFL players have ever been charged with stolen-car beefs; the list includes Juran Bolden, Mark Ingram, Tamarick Vanover and Bam Morris. Of those, only Ingram appears to have stolen a car off the street for his own use; the other crimes involved rings of stolen cars.

Erik Flowers

Jeff Lageman (IIRC, he's doing color commentary for the Jags)

R Jay Soward

Tony Mandarich
I saw Mandrich the other day, He has a few businesses locally.

Chris Warren...yeah, that guy was awesome a little while ago. I remember him and Edge both had huge games at the Pro Bowl one year I think. Never heard from him again after that. I guess he backed up Emmitt Smith?

Tyrone Wheatley is actually back at UM getting ready to take classes to finish his degree. I saw him in the hallway one day talking to one of the academic counselors. I would've gone up to him, but it probably would have gone like this:Me: "You're Tyrone Wheatley"Tyrone Wheatley: "Yup."Me: "Cool"Tyrone Wheatley:

LOL. I've had the unfortunate memory of a very similar instance when I met Levon Kirkland and to make matters worse, I was in an elevator with nothing to say after first saying hello. :X Afterwards I fought with myself :wall: coming up with anything that I could've said. It was like I was Chandler stuck in the vestibule with Jill Goodaker. :lmao: - "Want some gum?" "That would be perfection." :loco: :lmao:

Who was the NE QB who threw a hail mary TD a few years ago. He was a rookie and was supposed to be the next thing after Bledsoe. No, it wasn't Tom Brady.

Mike Bishop from Kansas State?
I looked it up, i think you are talking about Bishop. Last I heard he was tearing up the Arena League, one of the leading rushers and passers.
