Players you are avoiding, and why ? (1 Viewer)

Definitely avoid any players who face the Pittsburgh AND Baltimore Defenses TWICE. I guess that would be anybody from Cincy or Cleveland. Won't even pull the trigger, no matter how far they drop.

Avoiding Earnest Graham.

He's a guy who gets points when the Bucs are milking a lead. Unfortunately, the Bucs have the toughest 1st half schedule in the NFL and may be starting a rookie QB by mid-season.

They will not be milking any leads.

Ray Rice - just not buying it. Don't believe McGahee & McClain are going away enough to make this guy a 4th-5th Rounder.

Matt Forte - too pricey for the risk, he may do ok, but I expect him to finish closer to 12-15th.

Chris Wells - going way too high

Michael Turner - FO predicts a big dip, they are pretty good at forecasting drops and Turner will go top 3 pricing (there are just cheaper/lower risks with good ceiling)
A dip on those numbers are always possible. I would be careful using FO in reference to Turner. In 2008 they predicted 807 yards and 2 touchdowns for him.
I'm with you. Its based on the heavy workload theory. If anyone is set to ignore that theory, its Turner. Concerns me enough that I am going with some kinds of risk. Ain't none of it non-risky.
It used to be "He has never carried the full load!" now it's "He is overworked!"

I keep seing Michael Turner's name in here and I just don't understand why. The guy has fresh legs from sitting behind LT for so long, so while he racked up 370+ carries last year, it wasn't as if he added that on top of multiple 250 carry seasons.

In addition, he's been healthy and the passing game is just going to get better. Reasons, Ryan should get better with one year removed from his rookie campaign, Tony G, Roddy White maturing as a WR and more importantly, with his new QB.

While I don't think he'll get 1700 yards AGAIN, I do feel like he could tally 1500 yards and 15 TD's.

Adrian Peterson has a MUCH higher propensity to get injured than Turner, yet there is more perceived downside with Turner and I can't see why.

Just my thoughts and of course everyone is entitled to their own. I guess we agree to disagree and why I love this fantasy world we live in.

Clinton Portis - because he is slowing down and his name sounds naughty.

Chad Ochocinco - because he is a women's hygiene product.

Reggie Bush - he has bad knees and is dating a big girl...not a good combo.

Ben Roethlisberger - a modern day Troy Aikman.

Steve Smith - I am doing the rest of the world a favor - when I draft him he is either hurt or unproductive. Collectively, you are all welcome.

These entire teams are on my 'In Case of Emergency, Break Glass' list.

Browns

Buccaneers

Bears

Broncos

Bills

Bengals

Rams

Raiders

In no order (Based on current ADP-as everyone has value at some point):M. Lynch-Suspension and a knucklehead to boot.B. Marshall- Trainwreck with a questionable QB.T.O.- Toe injury, aging and a crappy QB.LT2- He'll be better then last year, but is overvalued.SJax-I want no part of this guy or any Rams.R. Rice- Pre season darling with lot's of hopes being pinned on him. RBBC with little upside. I see people taking this guy in the 4th round. What is the upside there? I doubt he finds my roster this year.
You think LT will be better than last year, when he finished as the 7th ranked rb, but you think he is overvalued?

Great posting. Love the sound logic.

I'll be putting 6B2R on top of my cheatsheet on draft day as a reminder to avoid guys from these teams. Couldn't agree w/ you more

Troy Aikman is the epitome of a QB who was much better in real life than in FF. Leader, wins championships - never big stats.

That's very risky in my book  :lmao: :lmao:

A few too many cocktails and ...

 :bag:

You end up with your lineup looking like:

Jamarcus Russell, Marshawn Lynch, Jamal Lewis, Ronald Curry, Ike Hilliard, Josh Reed and Randy McMichael

 :X
