If Maroney ever gets his act and body together, he has NYJ and MIA in weeks 15 and 16. (But BAL and PIT the weeks before then.)

That's actually a scary pick, IMO. We saw yesterday that Belichick WILL bench Brady when he can afford to. I'm trying to trade Brady in a multi player deal for Palmer or Manning.
Although the way this season is going, I can't see the Pats giving Maroney a full workload (20+ carries) with the playoffs looming.

The logic escapes me here. So Brady might not have played the last quarter--AFTER he had 5 TD passes and 290 yards. I guess we shouldn't play him.For the Pats to rack up a big lead, Brady will be at the forefront of the attack. Who really cares if he sits the last 10 minutes? The Pats have scored at least 34 points a game this year. Why would you be worried that he'll get pulled and not be a viable fantasy stud?

I can tell you that the master plan early on was to ramp Maroney up to a bigger workload in December to have him shored up for the playoffs, but given his inactivity the past month I don't know if the team has a different agenda now.

I have manning and Harrison and am hoping Dungy won't rest them before week 17. Hope it will come down to the wire for home field. Also hoping Winslow doesn't drop off if they bench Anderson for Quinn later in the year.

Chances are if I make it to the playoffs , Im either A. past a trade deadline or B. not prepared to trade the guys that brought me to that point.
I can appreciate "dreaming" about the guys I'd "like" to have but I'm not sure how you pull acquiring supreme prospects without giving up something.

taking into consideration if your player has a brutal shedule in playoffs or will have a chance of getting rested for playoffs in the final weeks (see patriots) and who you would like to acquire based on sched.

That's the point-you have to give up quality to get quality. If player A goes against Cinci, NYJ and Detroit in weeks 14, 15 and 16, while player B goes against Balt, Pitts and Tenn is the same weeks, assuming they're both of equal talent which schedule would you rather have?If you can afford to give up the juicy matchup of today for the juicy matchup of tomorrow, it'll help your odds of winning it all. If you're still fighting to make the playoffs this may not be a luxury you can afford.

Im kinda stacked at RB (can start 3), i got Bush, McGahee, and Larry Johnson (got from disgruntled owner thru trade). I'm TARGETING Marshawn Lynch. His schedule looks tasty. I'm tyinkin of trading McGahee and try to get lynch and Kevin Curtis.

It's not the last 10 minutes, it's what happens if Indy has 3 losses, NE has one in week 16. It's possible that Brady doesn't see the field. The best thing that can happen for Brady owners is Indy keeps winning. Or NE goes undefeated, BB won't risk history if it's within his reach.

HFA doesn't mean a thing in Packer/Bear games. It's pure emotion. It's a setting not found in many NFL games. It's not something that will go away soon.

Frank Gore.he plays against Cincy week 15, TB week 16..tough matchup against vikings in week 14, however.
