Playing the matchups with Kickers? (1 Viewer)

Does anyone else employ this strategy? This link sorts the FG's allowed by defenses so far this season.

Looking at least season also, seems like GB gave up a lot last year. I'm thinking of starting Jason Hanson this weekend and adjusting next weekend accordingly.

Anyone else with success with this?

I do something similar, but I sort by kicking opportunities (1 point for PATs, 3 points for each field goal attempt).

I do the same for defenses and kickers, then cross reference to see who has the best matchup.

It's not fool proof but it's better than just picking the #1 waiver-wire kicker.

I've used the fbg kicker data and tried playing "musical kickers". Its really hit or miss. Alot of times you pick up a guy only to have the guy you just dropped out kick him.

Its frustrating. Best to just find an average guy and stick with it as it will all balance out. Playing musical kickers, I seemed to hit the guys on their low weeks often.

Yep, it works very well. Maybe not this early in the season, but a few weeks from now is good.

Maybe use a little from last year and a little from this year to project the upcoming weeks.

That being said, I would rather have a consistent guy.

And that guys' name is not Josh Brown. I get lured into his offense every year. But 3 blocks out of 6 attempts this year.....see ya
