I'm not sure I agree with the calculations. By the way I am reading it, they are saying that if the Giants lose to the Bills, NYG still have an 89.6% chance of making the playoffs when they play NE the week after. From what I saw of the tie-breaker breakdown, I do not recall them being ahead of the teams they could be tied with.
