We do a playoff draft after wk 17 same scoring system (PPR) as the regular season.

Submit 8 starters QB 2RB 3WR TE K. As long as your guys advance , if not you run a short lineup. Total points after the SB is the winner.

Any interesting variations on this ?

We have 13 man rosters. 2 QB 5 RB 5 WR/TE 1 K. You have to pick one player from each team and you get 2 players from one of the teams. Those two players have to be a QB andWR/TE.

4 guys - draft full squad of starters each week (QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, TE, K, Team D)

Week 1 is auction

Week 2 is draft, with Week 1 points determining order that you get to pick which spot you have

Week 3 is same as week 2, but using cumulative points to determine position

Super Bowl is top 2 cumulative scorers H2H, reset scores, draft goes 1-2, 1-2, 1-2, and so on

We do it similarly as well. 12 Teams, 40 dollar entry, PPR, Draft our starting requirements only, 9 positions (QB, 2RB, 3WR, TE, K, DST) and then simply let it ride. If you lose someone, you lose them. Winner takes about 240 or so usually, and we pay out bonuses:

If you have the Super Bowl MVP on your team - 40 bucks

Longest TD Pass of the Playoffs - 10 bucks

Longest TD Run - 10 bucks

Longest TD Catch - 10 bucks

Longest FG - 10 bucks

The long bonuses make for some fun, even when you're down and out with only your kicker left to go. Guys seem to like it. We use it as a bit of a primer into our league for new people looking to join the next year. Lets them get their feet wet and see if they like the scoring system and what not. Draft on MFL makes it easy as pie to set up.
