Playoff seedings...need a little help please (1 Viewer)

(I know it's a bit early, but I just want to make sure we've got this covered well in advance.)

This is our first season using MFL, and our first year using divisions (we have 3).

My question is....we have our standings based on overall win %, divisional win %, head to head, and total points. When we seed the playoffs, is it appropriate to use divisional records between two teams with the same overall record, but in different divisions?

Just have never done it, was wondering how this is normally handled.

Thanks

This honestly should have been settled before the season started. Probably should do it asap.

In theory I would state that comparing divisional records between two teams in different divisions is apples to oranges and should not be used to settle a tiebreaker.

My league uses the same tie breakers and this is how we are set up. You can't compare division records across divisions, only head to head records.

I do agree that it should have been taken care of ahead of time. Somehow this one got by us.I this it may be an apples to oranges thing as well. Maybe we should just eliminate the divisional record in the playoff seedings.
