Playoffs How do you do them ? (1 Viewer)

Please forgive me if this is in the wrong forum. I know that this is not a who should I start ect...

Here goes.

Our league is setup as follows:

3 Divisions

Top 3 Div leaders make playoffs.

2nd wins in Div make wild card slots.

There is an argument that we should have:

Top 3 Div leaders make playoffs.

Top 3 over all winns make wild cards.

Tie breakers how should they be done ?

· In the event of a tie between teams' win records; winning

record within the division will be used to break the tie.

· In the event that a tie cannot be broken using the

division record the total point scored for that team will

determine the winner.

· In the event the preceding rules do no determine a winner

the lowest points against will be used.

· One wildcard team per division.

How do you guys do them ?

We do 3 div winners and 3 wildcards from any division...modeled our tiebreakers on the NFL tiebreakers...

Which for us translates to:1. Overall Win Percentage

2. (For an in-division tie) Division Win Percentage

3. Total Points

4. MFL Power Rank

5. Coin Toss
