Please sign this petition and help save my sister's life (1 Viewer)

Done. Like your sister Im a RN and it sickens me that her own employer/insurance company is making her do all this just to get the medical treatment she needs to hopefully be approved for surgery. Insurance co's are F###S. GL to her and your family.

Thank you all - 2,100 and counting, and it looks like a ton is coming from here. I spoke with my sister Saturday and we are hopeful the reaction from the weekend will wake them up.

I'll update whenever we hear anything - thank you so much to everyone.

Signed, and good thoughts to your sister and her family.

Please keep us updated - hoping for good news and results from the petition.

Signatures went crazy today and we have a tentative agreement with the insurance company. Thank you all so much - I am genuinely touched by how many of you signed.

I'll update when it's official.

Dude!

That's great. I hope it comes through fully - and good luck to you and your sister.

Please do, so glad that this may work out for your sister

Great news.

I signed much earlier, but I find myself curious about this process with the insurance company. Are they really not sure about how to handle this situation? Why are they swayed by a few thousand petitioners? Don't they see that if you showed this petition to a million people on the internet that a very high percentage would agree that she should qualify for treatment since she needs a specialist, not to mention her being a nurse?

Is the petition set up with the knowledge of the insurance company or could this tentative agreement timing be mutually exclusive of the petition? If the former, it's just weird to me. Like if you make enough of a public scene about it THEN we'll do the right thing.

ETA: I didn't know it was up to 80,000+ signatures; figured only about 3,000 or so, but still.

Awesome news. Clearly this all didn't come from here so excellent work to anyone who got this out to masses

Wow! From ~1600 when I signed on Saturday to 80K+ is amazing. Glad to hear things are looking good for your sister to get the procedure.

I really hope the campaign had nothing to do with the outcome. Because that would be a sorry ####### state of affairs.
