A car skidded off the road in (some obscure westchester county town) ...the car is imbedded in the House <—Their take...( camera feed shows it on the the lawn)

“We’re live on the scene”....FTLOG, the car skidded off the road...”Beaking News”.!!!!

Back in my day, breaking news actually meant something. 

"Breaking News" is a microcosm of todays news. Everyone has to one up each other to the point any new news they get has to have the grabbing effect of BREAKING NEWS...even if it is a Senate vote decision no one really cares about, a winter storm warning has been issued (you're calling for 2" and a wintry minx...and that is a breaking news warning?) Or breaking news, Cleveland Browns hire offensive coordinator.
