I am looking out my window which overlooks a parking deck.  The parking lot is loading right now as employees come to work which for most of them starts in 15 minutes.  There is a golf cart with a dummy, a mannequin, strapped to a mounting bracket so that it projects out about 18 inches from the side of the cart.  Motorcycle officers ride up on it as it drives at around 10mph and attempt to kick the dummy from its stanchion. They are doing this between rows of vehicles with traffic loading in.  They invariably weave a bit after the kick coming close to hitting parked vehicles.

I can't imagine where this type of training might be applied.

Maybe when a perp tries to attack while riding. The leg is the only appendage available for self defense without removing your hands from the handlebars.

Doesn't he draw a fair amount of water in that field?  He could probably just call someone's boss and ask if he really wanted to.
