So if TO wins a Super Bowl this season, are you going to change your vote to "Strongly Agree" that Manning is more of a cancer than T.O. because T.O. is now ineligable for the cancer label?TO hands down. Rodman has championship rings. TO got close but when they came up short he threw his QB under the bus for being ill. Cancers do not earn championship rings so therefore Rodman is not a cancer.
I dont think these guys were alike at all. TO is a guy that only cares about himself, alienates everyone, disrespects everyone he comes across, takes no blame for anything, and does anything he can to attract attention to himself. Rodman on the other hand, was just wierd. Colored hair, tatoos, piercings, no biggie. Rodman busted his butt, was a team player (even though sometimes it didnt seem like it) and won championships. Cant call a guy a cancer when he was a winner, and Rodman was a winner.Legit interested in hearing what the SP thinks about this.
LEEERRRRRROYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY JEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENKIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINSThis is actually worse than the Manning comparison. At least Manning has ripped his oline and defense. Rodman was a pretty good teammate. He did whatever the team needed him to do on the court w/o complaining and has 5 rings to show for it. What does TO or Manning have?
Agreed. While he was playing, no one worked harder to grab boards than Rodman -- on the Pistons, and, it can be argued, in the entire NBA.randall146 said:Rodman was a freak and distraction but it seems to me he was also super-loyal to his coaches and teammates and workmanlike through most of his playing career.
<----Lakers fanNot so much on the Lakers though. He was pretty useless on the court by the time he got to L.A. and was a complete distraction pretty much all the time. He didn't really publicly get down on anyone - but when you're on a squad with Shaq, Kobe et. al. there's not much room for that anyway.I voted for Rodman, as I think T.O. has been a more productive player in his sport than Rodman was in his. I don't know how you'd go about proving that, it's just a feeling I have.Agreed.
