Why are the stinking Raiders in caps?
A better question is "why have 3 people voted for them?"
9-3 in-division the past two years. A full offseason for Palmer. One of the best RBs in the league. A great young group of receivers, solid defensive line, best P/K combo in the league, and a new defense-oriented head coach who got rave reviews from every player he previously worked with. Not to mention we now have an actual GM to boot. What's not to like?

NO Al davis!but I voted SD.

Patriots- dont see a way they lose more than 5 games. Division seems to be in constant rebuild mode. Not excited about the Jets.

Steelers- Big Ben.

Texans- As long as Schaub stays healthy, I could see this team in the Superbowl. Foster/Tate are the best 1-2 punch in the NFL. D is nasty. Weak division.

Broncos- Manning is too smart to play if he wasnt ready. I think they win 10 games and fizzle in the playoffs like most Indy teams did.

WC- Bengals- Will give the Steelers a run for their money again and are on the verge of really making some noise. Could get hot at the right time and surprise.

WC- Chargers- Last season was a fluke. Rivers will be better this year. Matthews is poised for a good season. Sleeper team.

Voted the same for my division winners. Have not thought about the Wild Card teams yet. Gotta give Baltimore and Cincy a shot, the Jets if all works out, Buffalo, Oakland, San Diego

Baltimore seems to be getting old on defense and even though Flacco is better than he gets credit for, I still just dont trust him to win the big game. I am not a big believer in Buffalo even though I think they are going to be tough to beat. The Jets window has closed in my opinion. I just get the feeling the Rex thing has run its course. Oakland though? I am not buying them for 1 second. They are the 4th best team in their own division in my opinion. I think they are on the right track but it will take more than one off season to undo years of Al Davis.

Carson Palmer. He will be the death of that team.

I don't like their corners at all, Palmer hasn't sold me, receiving corps doesn't have a reliable guy, they never seem to win when it matters, they take too many penalties, and oh, what a surprise, they have a new coach again. I think the chiefs will take the division, but I'd take Denver or San Diego over the raiders as well.

Patriots

Ravens

Texans

Broncos
+1Patriots: No reason not to dominate that division.

Ravens: Cleveland is out. Cincy could make a push, but will Dalton hit the sophomore slump? I believe they regress this year and I am not overly sold on the run game being there for them. Leaves the division between PIT and BAL. I think PIT has some issues brewing with Wallace and seeing if Redman is the real deal. BAL maintains consistency and I give them the edge.

Texans: Really their division to lose. Indy and Jags are out. Tennessee could make a push if CJ can figure out how to be a RB again and if Britt can stay on the field. I think Titans have internal implosion, so HOU even without Mario should take it.

Broncos: This was the hardest choice and IMO is the AFC battle royal as any one of these teams could take the division. When it came down to it, I gave the edge to DEN because of their Defense. With Peyton playing well and the defense doing what they did last year, they should take the division.

Well, I'll certainly defer to your expertise.

NE - duh.

Balt - tough call between them and Pittsburgh, but I think the Ravens have fewer question marks.

Houston - won it at 10-6 last year with a million injuries, and there is no way they get hit with that many again, right?

Denver - tough call, considering their very difficult schedule, but if Peyton is healthy, he is always worth a handful of wins on his own.

Patriots -- hard to envision them not winning the Divisipn

Pittsburgh -- Baltimore was also a consideration here, but as long as Pit can get some semblance of a rushing attack, I like them

Houston -- all the pieces are in place for a deep run this year.

Denver-- This could truly be anyone's Division. My pick here all hinges on Manning.

WC -- Baltimore

WC --- San Diego

Bills- Yes, the Bills. They proved last year they can beat the Patriots when healthy. Last year with a healthy Fitz, they looked awesome on offense. And that D-line looks liek the second best on paper (to the Giants)

Ravens- They just seem to have the Steelers number.

Texans- That division sucks, currently

Broncos- all depends on Manning's health
