Portis, James,Benson,or Jones (1 Viewer)

Drafting in about 2hrs and need some input...12 team 3rd round reversal and I've got the #3 pick.....Taking LJ first round and can't see passing on a running back in round two being as my next pick would be 10th pick of round 3.....Soooo....who is my best pick...

I see them as

1.Portis ...high risk high reward

2.James...lower risk but are the rewards lower or about the same ???

3, Benson..Great line and all the carries but I just have a bad feeling about him

4.Thomas Jones...Washington scares me just a bit...

I really want to take Portis but James should be my pick....What do you all think

i say you go with benson or james. both of these will retain the bulk of the team's carries. with cp, you don't know if you're getting 3 games or 10 games out of him (16 games is out of the question). especially with 3RR, your 2nd round pick at #3 spot better be a sure thing and guaranteed minimal production.

Take portis. Instead of going for Betts in the 6th (or even 7th), get an ahman green / j. lewis type in the 5th or so and you will have a guy for bye weeks and if Portis doesnt heal but still have the upside for Portis to help win you a championship.

everyone has a different opinion. which makes sense cause this is a toughy.

CP while he has good potential has huge downside. If you can get Betts, CP is a good pick, if not, then not.

Edge, while he will get carriers isnt the same. I would not draft edge unless the value was so great.

TJones shouldnt even be in the discussion

Levi Jones the 6th overall pick was projected to start there with Gandy on the other side. So they lost a backup O-lineman. Edge is the easiest pick here.

I'd probably take Portis, due to his clear and very talented handcuff. Benson a close second due to the opportunities he should have.
