So what's everyone's take on the Redskins situation?? 17 carries each but Portis looked MUCH better than Betts obviously. As a Portis owner (and also Jacobs) I'm hoping the carries slowly increase each week.............any Redskins homers or guys with strong opinions on this situation??

As long as he's healthy, he'll get the meaningful carries and a majority of the load. Ride'm while you can.

Portis's value is sky high. He looked healthy and showed whose number 1. They planned on splitting carries this week because this was his first week back. Expect the split to be 80-20 from here on out.

I own Ahman Green as well, along with B. Jacobs and Portis. BUT I am in a flex happy league and we only "have" to start 1 RB and then have two flex positions in a PPR league, so I may be playing Portis along with Alexander and keeping Green on the bench for a while.If Portis gets 20 carries a game or more he's a top 10 RB for sure, maybe even top 5.

Portis got 98 yards and a TD on limited carries in his first game action in eleven months. He both played against the same defense in the same situations as Betts, but Portis looked much better. If you can still trade for him, do it now.

Portis is a great RB, but brittle, Betts is a good RB and a pounder. I see a 60-40 split at best for clinton.

And actually this may be good for Portis stats.

Have to disagree...sell high now..I can't trust those knees.

I didn't think Portis would play much this season, I'll be the first to admit I was selling Portis as this year's biggest bust..The reports about his knee, were bad,etc...but, I'll take my lumps..he looked great yesterday ..keep your finger crossed that he doesn't get hurt, but he's going to be one of those guys who will outperform his ADP by a wide margin, IF he stays healthy..

Its only 1 game, but I give credit to the guys with the cajones to draft him!
