POST YOUR ROOKIE DRAFTS (1 Viewer)

That’s a lot of trades! :o
Yea it's a salary cap league and just about everybody is up against it so lots of trades. I have 1.1 and 1.12 then I don't select again to the 5th hoping I can get a couple decent IDPs then.

Trying to figure who take at 1.12 really need another rb. I'm thinking either R. White or Pierce.

London fell to me at 1.7 in a ppr start 1 QB league.

Hall, Walker, Williams Wilson, Olave, Burks London, Cook so far

I see very little  difference between the 1.3 and 1.8 (or even 1.9) this year.

Throw 6 WRs (Wilson, London, Burks, Williams, Olave, Skyy…even Watson) and Cook's names in a hat and pull them out randomly, and that’s what order you could predict for a league at random.

Pretty much just take your favorite or try to trade down if someone else really wants someone. I’m sitting at the 4 in SF. Other than knowing hall won’t fall, I don’t know which will be there. I have a preference but not a huge one and it kind of reminds me of preferring Charles Rogers but settling for Andre Johnson.

Obviously drafts this year will be all over the place 2-12, maybe more than ever, but Spiller at 6 seems like the biggest outlier here

I drafted Spiller at 2.01 and 2.02.  His value dropped since April, but I feel I got good value in start 1qb ppr.  He may be one of the best handcuffs in the league.

Maybe - Watson is very raw and Rodgers isn’t a fan of rookie WRs and how much longer does Rodgers stay around?

Moore - perhaps - but KC also added a bunch of veterans this off-season, and of course lost Hill, and will likely spread the ball around. Hardman, who has disappointed, is also still around and is perhaps a cautionary tale of what drafting a rookie because he landed in KC May look like.

The situation is the allure though of course so I get the point.

I'm not sure in what situation I'd trade down from 1.07, but Williams and Olave dropping to me would be one of them for the 1.08 and more or less anything else

No love for Jerome Ford.

That is terrible. That's a Zealots reach, where RB are scarce due to roster size.
That's a league I'm in. It was a surprisingly poor pick, in my opinion, even for Zealots. I was glad, because I had the 1.09, 2.01, and 2.02, which just meant that better talent would fall to me.

Yeah as the Jacobs owner I was pretty shocked and pissed to see him drafted that early. Oh well.

Am I just completely overlooking white or is that early?

You guys are confusing the heck out of me.  There are two Whites and I can't tell which you're talking about.  It actually looks like you're talking about both.

This thread has definitely helped me as I go about planning for my draft. If this helps anyone else, I went about pulling the drafts provided into my own spreadsheet for my league to help me build a draft helper tool and this is the average top 20 rankings for all rookies based on the drafts thus far provided.

  1. Breece Hall
  2. Kenneth Walker III
  3. Drake London
  4. Garrett Wilson
  5. Treylon Burks
  6. Jameson Williams
  7. Chris Olave
  8. James Cook
  9. Skyy Moore
  10. Christian Watson
  11. George Pickens
  12. Devin Lloyd
  13. Jahan Dotson
  14. Aidan Hutchinson
  15. Isaiah Spiller
  16. Dameon Pierce
  17. Kenny Pickett
  18. Rachaad White
  19. Kayvon Thibodeaux
  20. Malik Willis

Jets!  You had a solid draft.

Jets!  You had a solid draft.

Thanks! I think I really botched the Pierre Strong pick, but time will tell. I liked yours and Miami's, as I noted to Gally either in private correspondence or in this thread (I can't remember where I mentioned that).  You've come close to winning the league every year I've been in it. Good luck next year!

What's with only having one team draft in the 4th round?  A compensatory pick of some sort?
Yes we do a NFL Draft Challenge with the 4.01 as the overall prize, its able to be used on the 3 man taxi squad (Only rookies YOU draft can go on the taxi squad).  I just happened to win it this year and will stash Howell on there till he is ready - Taxi can stay on indefinite until promoted.

Completed today but a little funky.  Combined rookie devy draft in a two copy superflex, PPR, TEP, best ball league.  24 Teams.  There are some guys that know what they're doing and several guys that are just along for the ride.

One copy is reserved for their rookie year (to avoid a depleted rookie draft) so you can only pick one of the copies as a devy in the previous years.

In this 2022 draft, both copies of 2022 now available.  If a 2022 eligible copy wasn't previously selected as a devy, two can be drafted.  Only one copy of 2023 available but most top guys taken last year.  One copy of 2024 guys now available for the first time so can pick any 2024.

Completed today but a little funky.  Combined rookie devy draft in a two copy superflex, PPR, TEP, best ball league.  24 Teams.

One copy is reserved for their rookie year so you can only pick one of the copies as a devy in the previous years.

In this 2022 draft, both copies of 2022 now available.  If a 2022 eligible copy wasn't previously selected as a devy, two can be drafted.  Only one copy of 2023 available but most top guys taken last year.  One copy of 2024 guys now available for the first time so can pick any 2024.
i need another copy of my brain to understand those rules. ;)

It's basically to keep from having a depleted pool for the rookie draft, we want to have one copy of each still available.

Just curious - did you pay the 1.03, 1.04, and 1.05 all to move up to 1.01?  Any other pieces involved in that?
No I paid the 1.3 and 1.5 (plus Mariota and Rojo) to move up.

I had moved 1.4 in a separate trade, just happened it was with the same guy.

Steep price. Did you need a RB that badly or did you just feel like the dart throws at 1.03 and 1.05 weren't as valuable? I'd personally have a hard time giving up that value, though in the long run it might have been worth it.
