I think most sexless marriages are caused by the men not being man enough to keep their wives attracted to them.

I think porn addiction is the other big killer.

maybe, but they are the most consistent league at crowning the best team as the champion each season.

Their 7 game series + temperature controlled indoor environments lead to pretty consistent results.

There is some absolutely atrocious officiating, but at the end of the day I applaud them for their consistently high quality champions.

Nine different teams have won the championship the last 33 years. Either the NBA is a lopsided league or it sucks. How about fixed? I think the WWE is less fake than this atrocity of a so called professional sport

Small rosters means that the best individual players have more impact on who wins the championship than any other major American team sport. So those players tend to win multiple titles.

Yeah, during that span LA did get to have a Kobe era after having a Showtime era and Boston did put together the "Big 3" after the Bird/McHale/Parrish team. So maybe that seems unfair. But if "they" were really rigging the league they wouldn't rig it to give San Antonio 4 titles during those 33 years.

The NBA is great as long as just watch the last 3 minutes of the 4th Quarter and you enjoy WWE scripting.

 
Seattle got away with murder against San Fran. When I heard it was the same refs for Super Bowl...I knew it was over.

Am I the only one who thinks Seattle gets to hit before the ball is touched and ride WR's all the way down the field?

I should stop looking in this thread. It's one thing to not like the Wire, but to day you have seen too many like it? There isn't another show remotely close to it in scope.

 
The NBA would be much better if they had a maximum height limit that each team had to adhere to during course of a game, say 27 ft. So you could have 3 guys 7ft tall or you could have 9 midgets 3ft tall or you could mix and match as long as you are under the height limit. Maybe one giant at 7'8'', two guys that are 5'9" and one dwarf at 4'0 and a mini-me at 3'. And any player under 4 feet could be hoisted on the shoulders of another player.

That would make it much more interesting for me.

A lot of brilliant people are mentally ill. If we could "cure" mental illness, we would likely see huge advancements in society. Unfortunately, it's a highly stigmatized category of illness, so it doesn't get the research funding that more fashionable diseases like AIDS and cancer get.

I find breaking bad boring and tedious.I've known as the great acting and pretty decent writing but somehow the whole thing on screen is boring and tedious.I have never been able to make it through one whole episode.

They want to help convince me, the new commish should abandon the draft lottery or at least do it in front of everyone on live TV and not behind closed doors.

speaking of basketball:

if you are fouled you can either take the foul shots (of you have them coming) or the ball. This would prevent the fouling as a strategy at the end of games.

Looked it up, and Lebron has been fined 5K for flopping. All I could come up with.

This guy falls more than a 6'8", 250 guy should. He looks like he got hit with a frying pan most of the time there is small contact.

And know that the league fines players for flopping. The question was rhetorical.

I can always tell the NBA fans who love their game so much. Clit Clavin being one of them

OK, I believe you. I just don't think I can make it. The beginning of the season bored me to hell. Big letdown, I want to get into it.

 
To stay on the NBA theme i post on fb how happy i am when the Thunder get bounced in the playoffs because while they are playing home games you cant park anywhere in Bricktown and all the restraunts are packed and you have to wait. I love when basketball season is done! It jacks up my dating!

I've always found her to be pretty consistent and the numbers seem to back her up. Middle of the pack on everything.
